ATI Crank Pin Kit did yours look like this?

what I recieved does not. I just got 1 pin, 1 drill bit, and a hub type dealie. I can post pics later but curious as to what others recieved.

ohhhh now it's making sense
so the hub thingee is purely used as a guide to drill the hole?
the pin just butts up against a spoke on the crank pulley ????
so yah I could have borrowed yours and just bought a dowel pin right?

Yep hub thingee is the guide, it slips over the end of the crank real easy, as is the little screw looking things in the pic, one is a screw to lock the drill guides in the hub and the two drill guides. One guide is for the drill bit and the other is a guide for the reamer. The dowel pin doesn't hit a spoke on the crank pulley. You will need to take crank pulley to a machine shop to have them cut a keyway in it. It should be pretty inexpensive to get done. A local machine shop here in Alb charged me $20 bucks cash and had it done in an hour so it shouldn't be that bad in your area. Send it back and I will send you mine to rent for like 20bucks plus shipping both ways if you want

Verdad Gallardo huuuh? Maybe its an updated design? Is this from the same ATI performance products company. Does it have a sheet of instructions telling how it works? Diagram?

yah see now I am very confused.
yours you drill a hole down into the crank, set the pin, cut the keyway. makes sense.
the one in my pic makes it look like you drill the hole into the face of the crank....
definetly got to get a hold of the vendor and see whats up.

I spoke to ATI (the procharger people) and they explained to me how it works. Acutally quite simple and does not require a trip to the machine shop. What I find a crock though is pinning the crankpulley is a standard part for the kit for the Vettes according to ATI, but apparently F the F-Body crowd, figure it out on your own. Guess our cars are not good enough to provide the extra protection as a standard piece in their kit.
Well anyway I am piecing mine together so it's fine, but if I had bought a full priced kit, that would erk me.
