Well yea, it will physically fit.. you may need to get vette accessories or something. Also, I doubt it would clear the hood, but maybe there is an aftermarket hood that will work for ya. Honestly, I've been around the FI world for quite a while and as cool as an idea as that is (and many people have had it) ive never seen anyone carry it out.

i have done this before........ ITS NOT WORTH IT!!! i had belt slippage issues, belts being thrown issues and it never made boost like i wanted. i kept the fbody pulleys and shimmed the vette bracket out to meet the fbody pulleys. the main problem is you will be running the blower inline with the rest of the pulleys. there is just too much belt to keep tight at high boost levels.

You said about doing it on a budget well it will cost you a hole lot more money to convert to Vette accersories than to just buy a f-body kit. And you don't need to ditch your ac with the f body set up. And I think you will not be able to get a inlet hat and filter on the the procharger with the vett setup.

I have been looking into the same thing for my f1r on my WS6. You can do it. Use the a&a brackets and shim it out. I would say also if anyone wants to try a dirrect drive Its the way to go but if you want to run one you have to have a standard rotaion blowers and there about $3200 for the bracket.

hey bob, I tried to get a hold of you a few days ago. Is there any dif in mounting the f1r head unit on the j bracket vs a d1sc? Also the bracket that you are using, is that the procharger on or sdce? Have you guys made the cog setup yet to fit with the power steering pump?
