No problems here so far on stock block and about 10,000 miles. But I went thru three 10 bolt rears before I got smart and installed a 9 inch rear.

Your grammar makes my head hurt. Seems like what a 15 year old girl would text on a cell phone, so I'm not gonna bother answering your questions.

You will be fine if the tune is good.

Take a drive to EPP - Columbia , IN - they do Procharger setups all day long and in all flavors. Bob can get you fixed up.

7psi should be safe for a good long time as long as your engine's in good shape (leakdown test would be an indicator). Bob @ EPP probably is your best bet. As mentioned above, he has a lot of experience.

Not to get off topic, but any of you guys at are running around that boost level on a relatively stock application got any track times and/or trap speeds? Just curious.

I kinda wanna know the same thing. I have a stock LS1 with 23K miles that I would like to boost in the near future. I want it to be reliable and not have to worry about the engine exploding. What is the magical safe number? I spoke with Bob from EPP and he told me that anything over 500rwhp (mustang dyno) your on borrowed time.

If Im looking to get MAX 500rwhp on a dyno jet that reads a lil lower than a stang dyno, will I be OK?

I agree, its such a turn off having to decipher some tween text message in order to discuss cars. I only got half way through his post before I was thinking the same thing... **** 'em. What does he think he's doing? Making a twitter post from his blackberry?

The posters of LS1Tech must be extremely bored. Yes his post was a little hard to follow with bad sentence structure, but if it bugs you that much just click the magic back button on your browser and find something else to read.

Sadly with the advent of things like Facebook status and Twitter messages and even general text messages before them, mastery of the written word has been getting worse not better. But come on this isn't EnglishTech, the last bastion of proper grammar and spelling, it's a car forum. Lets try and play nice.

being safe with boost requires more than a tune IMO. Most folks will run NGK TR6 plugs at tighter gaps than stock. Most of us monitor one or more critical functions when performance driving. Spark knock can kill a motor quickly. So can going lean on the fuel to air ratio. So, get a good tune, make a few easy changes that help with boost like plugs, and monitor your motor via gauges.

LOL

I find it funny he called people stupid but he fails at typing when tryin to convey a question. Not to mention calling a seasoned FI member too stupid to anwser.

Hell I couldnt tell what he was asking about. It looked like he wanted to know about realibilty @ 7#'s on a bone stock engine then contradicts himself in the end sayin he built it all up anyway?

I'm as confused as his post, LOL.
