Phil Thomas runs 4.70 @ 164-one bad LSX
we had some marginal track conditions today, but still made some pretty good runs.
1.25 60' 4.72 @ 162
1.25 60' 4.70 @ 164
1.23 60' -tire shake-a little too much power for the track-once we get on a good track we should be in the mid 4.60's.
we had some injector issues today,so we are going to hang it up for this season, make a couple small changes over the winter and come out stronger than ever next spring.
I just want to thank Phil for letting me be a part of his racing operation-i can't wait for next season.

Thanks guys-it hasn't been easy, but we are trying our best to go the fastest with the least.Who say you need big blocks and twin turbos to go fast
Thanks for the chassis advice once again Madman.
as for what's it equates in the 1/4-who knows-coulda,woulda,shoulda,didn't.
we did run a 7.53 lifting at 5.0 seconds into the run on the .72 pass and a 7.54 lifting at 4.9 seconding on the .70 pass.
we also went 198 on the pass we struck the tires-only went 156mph to the 1/8 on that run. That was also on 7 cyls when the number 4 injector had an issue.
if we ever get one good pass together-look out.

Unbelieveable...got it hot off the press while at work yesterday,it was definitely a nice distraction from the work day, lol.
Great job Phil and Shawn....these guys go deep into the bag of tricks to achieve performance, I'm glad to see it pay off. Looks like you guys will be the frontrunners for the first LSX on radials to go 6's.
Congrats again!

I can't thank the guys who helped enough. We've taken a new program, new driver, home built car and put it on the map among racers with YEARS of data and testing.
Shawn is one smart phucker. He is driven to make a better mouse trap and won't stop until he has the best product.
Madman is the guy to go to on suspension components. He has soo much information on setups and chassis combinations its not funny. We called him 2 weeks ago, track was coming around, it stood the car up 300' out. He recommended a change to the suspension and we followed to a T. End result car did exactly what it was supposed to. Picked the fronts up 4" and carried them out 300' hovering the pavement. Yesterday we had more power in it, it stood it up almost as quick as I released the transbrake. He told us to make a simple change and man it worked.
I never realized we went a 7.53 and 7.54 lifting at the 1/8 mile.
