You have to have been a member of the site for x months and have atleast xxx posts to buy in. There are 80-90 seats I believe. There are alot of guys from all over Florida on that site so it draws a decent local crowd.

Hot parts are here. Coating looks good. Not as thick as we thought it would be but still thicker than the other stuff out there. Hopefully we can schedule with our aluminum guy and get the cold side modified for the intercooler on Wednesday night. Then it'll need some exhaust and we'll be ready for some shake downs.

It's an off white and there is no choice. This is real ceramic which only comes in white. They say it can be painted with the high temp stuff. Supposedly the ceramic is a good rough surface for the paint to bond to and the thermal protection from the ceramic will keep the paint from flaking. For now, he is going to leave it white and see how they look.

They used to paint headers white back in the 70s intentionally.

Sh!% if it does the job that is all that matters. Unless you're going to show it. Yeah I wouldn't paint it or anything until you run it some. It looks like it will do the job

That looks pretty cool actually. I bet it will get dirty real easy though?
I love that intake as well. I may have to see about one of those?

Not a big fan of the white/off white either but like you said there was no option. The rest of the engine compartment looks really awesome.

While I was at the track Wednesday night, Steve was at Dave's house doing the cold side mods for the new intercooler. I swung by there around 2AM when they were wrapping up. Dave had to weld some tabs on the intercooler and then relocate a couple of the rods that attach it to the bumper support.

The passenger side plumbing lined up fairly easily from what they said. They also mounted the oil cooler (mounted flat and slightly offset to the passenger side top of the bumper support).

The driver's side 4" pipe proved to be a bit more difficult. They ended up cutting the top bar on the bumper support off, trimming and molding it to be used as a brace to the bottom bar.

Also, the Formula front clip is extremely tight because of the additional set of driving lights to the inside of the fog lamps. Because the charge pipe was already tucked up against the frame and couldn't go any tighter, Dave ended up cutting a straight slice off the corner and welding in a flat piece there. Shouldn't be a big deal as the charge pipe feeding the intercooler is only 3".

How much power do you think those filters will actually flow? We are about to have to use a set our our build.
