The two engineers at PRI said the new wheel will require a new compressor cover due to the overall design.

It will allow a lighter roatating mass and more power potntial yes. It wont make the HP76/TC76/T76/HP78/TC78/T78 wheels obsolete though. Not eveyone will want to pay for them.
Wanna bet?

The formula carries the wheels beautifully, not to high but still a long way out.

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of where you mounted the fuse box from under the hood would you??

I got rid of them completely. I run BS3 now and I rewired pretty much the whole car. I kept the interior fuse box and BCM though.

This car is ****** beast mode. So many people say they have the baddest street car......then they trailer it everywhere. This **** shows what a mild LSX build can do. That car could almost run in ORSCA Extreme Street. Its definately legal.

It's mild in that it's all straight out of the box stuff that anyone (disclaimer: with proper tools and knowledge ) can piece together in their garage with the exception of the turbo kit itself. The cam in this car is VERY mild for a solid roller aswell. The only reason that it isnt a hydraulic setup is that he already had the solid roller stuff from the high RPM nitrous build. We try not to spin it over 7500 RPM anyway. I'm pretty sure that power peaks under 7K RPM with this intake. Almost got him on a dyno a couple of weeks ago but then he backed out. I'm not a fan of dynos but it is a great diagnostic tool and would help in this case as we don't have any real data from anywhere else to compare this setup too. I'm not concerned with the numbers themselves as much as I want to see the power curve. I'd also like to see how it responds to more/less timing and more/less fuel. When testing at the track, really small changes get absorbed into the other variables and I am scared to make a drastic change to the tune and end up hurting something. The dyno atleast can tell you if you are headed down the correct path or not.

We are working on getting them asap. As for the GTM covers, we will have them available for the billet wheel versions as well. We will be able to CNC the covers you guys select for the billet wheels or if you want to upgrade as well.

I wasnt attempting to undermine the actual success of the build but the combo itself is not extreme in my eyes. Its well built and is undoubtably going to go even quicker. And the best part of this build its that its still 100 percent streetable if they wanted to go that route. Not sure how much street time it actually sees but I would **** myself if it pulled up on the side of me because its the sleeper from hell.

Sleeper is a bit of a stretch. It really needs exhaust. Right now it just has bullets next to the transmission. Once he get's the exhaust on and the power steering bracket, then it'll be ready for some street duty and a little street testing. We got a few gallons of VHT laying around.

A buddy of ours has a Dynojet that we may be going on in the not too distant future to see what this E85 **** really likes. I guess the first dyno was only accurate to 1200 rwhp which is why he decided to pass. The Dynojet is good to 2000 rwhp and 200 mph.

It's only about an 1/8 mile pass. Maybe less but the 60' was decent at a mid 1.27 IIRC.
I like the puff of smoke off the front tires when the set back on the track. Reminds me of an airliner.

How does the f1 68mm wheels compare to the 75mm wheels from precision or garrett if all other things were equal (t4, a/r, compressor side)?

sorry for the hi-jack, I just have to know
