Ya welding with some welding sleeves and a cut up sleeveless shirt was never my best idea, especially when it was summer and everyone saw my burns.

Whats the problem with the power steering. Just curious as it looks like there is plenty of room. The build looks great. Always loved that intake, it was just pricey for sure.

Would be nice if we could make some money at it. I just hate turning wrenches.

You are one of the guys that I did some research on while trying to decide in which direction to go. How's yours coming along? Steve mentioned that he saw you were selling your block and maybe trying to switch over to 6 bolt.

The good old days. Before the ricers fucked up our street scene.
Here's me and Steve doing battle on the streets on motor. Video is from his car. I dinged the limiter on the first one.

Pulley rubs the header. He can get a smaller pulley, i think but the reservoir ends up right up against it. Would be nice if someone made an electric power stearing setup for the Fbody with a remote reservoir and pump.

Vortech makes a relocation for the reservoir and a different pulley to mount to the head. Its a billet pulley and they might be able to get one in a smaller diameter. Tell him to call vortech and check it out.

He called Vortech today and got put on perma-hold.

We did make some progress in a couple of other areas after a few hours of head scratching. He had cut off the horns for the bumper support in an effort to shed some weight. Ofcourse, now we need them in order to attach the front IC/Bumper support. Dave made up some brackets for us to use this evening and I dropped off the radiator again so that he could move the top AN fitting down a little in order to clear the exhaust housing on the driver's side turbo. Also dropped off the charge pipe to have a bung welded in for the screw in IAT sensor.

We gave up on trying to jam the flex-a-lite puller in there. It was way too tight. Called up Flex-A-Lite and they are sending the opposite pitch blades for FREE (to make it a pusher). Now that's customer service!

We got most of the fuel plumbing done last night also.

Initially will probably be running race gas (C16) to work out all the bugs. Then we will try the e85. Nearest E85 pump is about 30 miles away. We'll have to see how that works out.

only thing about e-85 is the insane amount of volume needed. I can't even run it in my secondary cell due to lack of volume. But if he went with enough fuel system e-85 is great.

I believe that it has 2 MP-4301's rated at 1500hp each on the same tank. One will run all the time and the other one will kick on under load.
