You put Ice and water in that box and it pumps ice cold water thru the air to water intercooler to cool the air charge. These type of intercoolers reduce the charge temp way below ambient (unless ambient happens to be below 50*). Really good for summer time racing with a turbo.

All the pics posted so far have come from my iPhone. Steve got some higher quality pics tonite. When I left he had the cold side almost all done and was installing the down pipes. He's waiting on the power steering pump pulley and some -20AN hose fittings for the radiator. It's starting to look like something now.

Having a little bit of a hard time finding air filters for this thing. The air filters must have a 4" opening and can't be any more than 4.5 inches long. We found a K&N but they aren't very big around and they don't have an inverted cone on the small end. Just the rubber cap. If anyone knows of an air cleaner that has some decent diameter or an inverted cone on the end, please supply a link.

Have you looked at the HKS filters like the Supra guys run?

Jamie's Vette has even less clearance than you guys it would seem, and he has been considering running the HKS units.

Carlos,
Maybe you could use 4" Cobra elbows pointed down into 4 x 6 or 4 x 9 filters? You could get all that locally from Darin at racepartsolutions.

I was about to mention the fact that the largest HKS filter has a 4" opening as I was looking at various options for my F1R and bought on to try out etc... So it could work for you.
