I think I found some lost horsepower.
Today I just happened to be datalogging my car and noticed the tps was only going to 92% when I was working the petal with the motor off. Come to find out I didn't have my throttle cable adjusted correctly and the throttle wasn't going all the way to the stop.
It's been raining so I haven't had a chance to see if the difference is noticable what do you guys think?
stock motor with patriot LQ9 heads, 9psi w/T76 turbo.

I'm hoping it has an impact because the arm wasn't even going all the way to the stop. I know what your saying about the blade but I'm just talking about I wasn't using the full range of the throttle with a unmodified stop.

Going from 92% opening to 100% opening will have absolutely no effect on power IMO.
In fact, given most TB's flow enough for say even 1000bhp when boosted....even 75%-100% will make negligable difference once the engine is "on boost" as the TB opening is already letting in all the air the engine can consume

Yes, my 500whp car does not make full power at 1/2 throttle. If that logic applies than a 500whp car should only need half throttle at the big end of the 1/4 mile to et and mph the same speed as wide open.
I don't what the answer is but there seems to be more to it.

You are already have 9 psi forcing air past the blade at wide open, which was 92% for you. Now going to 100% open at 9 psi it still should be forcing the same amount past the blade.

This is exactly what i was thinking too,but you beat me to it guy LOL I know only haveing 92% will mess with your auto trans function as i had a aftermarket Accufab TB that was only showing 90% no matter what i did because of the desighn i guess LOL Jerry Farmato, while tunning it last year pointed this out to me while he was trying to tune it and exsplained how the TPS signals actually controls shift points and clutch pressures in the auto trannys. We even tryed boreing out the TPS sensors mounting holes which still wasnt rightI ended up just putting on a ported stock TB and was good to go after that LOL He said i wasnt alone with this issue, about 7 out of 10 guys that he tunes for that run afternarket TB's all have this problem which cant be tunned out Just figuired ide share this while were on the TPS subject LOL
