Narrobwands SUCK when running a cam with this much overlap.. The tune WILL be good on this thing, although there are alot of limits with this SD tuning stuff... I will most likely never use SD on any boosted LS cars I setup, as I am a maf fan through and through.

well unfortunatly i have an update... i limped my car back from ohio the other day, my trans is gone! and time for a good rebuild ![Sad](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_sad.gif)
it was never able to hold the power anyways. i have been very busy with school and work and havent be able to get any footage of the beast. hopefully here in a few weeks it will be back on the road and in much better shape.

Wow great thread !! Sorry to hear your tranny took a dump. Had to be expected though. I'm sure you'll be good to go if you do the 4l80 conversion or th400 like a couple mentioned. Those 4l60s just don't take the beating you'd hope they would, even the built versions. A tech member that goes by WHPLASH with an 02 ss and a d1sc ran thru about 6 4l60's in 2 yrs. I think once he changed tuners and got a proper tune for the tranny he stopped blowing them. Dennis is running low 10's full weight. Stock 10 bolt too !!! Hit him up and ask about his tuner.
Good luck on getting her back on the road. Congrats on doing it yourself. Lots of skills bro. Love the 1895.00 parts, and 1,000,000 labor.

i expected it to go also, just not soo soon. I plan on doing a good rebuild to the 4l60e myself and see how that goes for me. I will be doing all my tuning also for everything, so i will be able to adj. when needed.
I have a 9" i am also building lol. it is just about done... i need to cut a little bit more of the axle tube and weld on the bearing ends and then order axles then im set.
