which gauges and why?

Default which gauges and why?

i'm new to gauges and i'm not totally sure which one to buy for the maggie set-up this one: Auto Meter Phantom Series, 2-1/16" Mechanical Boost 30 in Hg.-Vac./20 PSI Includes 6ft. nylon tubing, 1/8" & 1/4" NPT fittings.

or this one: Auto Meter Phantom Series, 2-1/16" Full Sweep Electric Boost/Vacuum w/Peak Memory and Warning (Boost 30 In Hg.-Vac./30 PSI) Full Sweep, Stepper Motor meter movement. Includes 8 ft. tubing or wiring harness. Includes MAP sensor. Includes T-fitting.

i'm thinking i'll need the electrical one for the new amp sensor especially but i'm not sure . . . or should i just ask Ed at LM Speed about it?

Boost is boost-shouldn't matter which gauge you use, just get the mechanical one and plumb it into a vacuum line. I've got the mechanical one you posted for sale if ur interested let me know.

I like the Aeroforce guages, you get 1 and monitor 2 things. I have 2 and monitor Knock, misfires on 1 and soon the other will be timing and AFR. My friend in his GTO will also have the 2 Aeroforce guages with knock, oil pres and the other boost and AFR.
Also the guages can scan for trouble codes and delete them, and you can program a shift light too. Just my .02

No body running the Westach guages? I don't have one in my TA but I do in my diesel tow rig and I really like it. Boost and EGT's all in one guage.
