Smile Can you do sts setup with an ms4 cam? sorry newbie

Im new to the fbody scene and wanted to go turbo. I have switched to an fbody from an 03 mustang gt with a p1 procharger so im not to knowledgeable about fbodys yet. I have an ms4 cam and wanted to know if i could do an sts setup with that cam and what supporting mods if any that i would need. I only ask cause my mustang the bottom end was only good for 450hp. So let me know your thoughts and im not looking to get slammed on here just need some advise im a sponge teach me im here to learn

Yes but it will have some lag due to big cam but will still be fast at the top end. Bottom end should be fine I made 489hp 518fp for over 20,000 miles. Is your car an m6 or a4 that will make a difernce to. Ps I have my STS kit for sale. Ready to go.

Its not the best for a turbo but yes it will work. I ran the torquer 2 on my 347 with a turbo for a while. But my new cam is 254/254, but i am also alot more cubic inches. What is the lsa on your cam?

bad idea the overlap pretty much jsut pushes boost out the exhaust. sell the ms4 and get a torquer or a boost cam. you will get better gains from that.

Well your already on the right track by ditchin that Mustang

As for the cam, you can use it but I don't think you would get the full potential out of you car by using it. I would call Virginia Speed or send them an email and tell them what you have and/or what your wanting and they will spec a cam for you to get the most out of your car.

Those are the correct specs...

As far as the Ms4 with a turbo, I would highly advise against it.

If I was spending money on a nice setup, custom cam would be the only way to go for me.
