Default Ordering a gatorback belt for my procharger. Thoughts?

Like it says. I've been messing with this thing the last couple of nights and have yet to be succesfull. I have a 38.4" belt that I fiiiinnally got on but I cant get the bolts in on the headunit to save my life. I'm afraid the 40" belt is going to be to long after it stretches. Since gates doesn't make a belt in between them two sizes I found a 39.25" gatorback belt that I think will fit perfect. Anyone use gatorback for this? I'm shooting for around 12 #s. Think it'll do the trick?

I ran into the very same problem as well, I needed a 40" belt as well but was only able to find a 39.xx" belt (sorry I can't remember the exact measurement). I've had the belt on the car for roughly 6k miles and haven't had any problems.

My be its just me but I think they suck we thought we may pick some boost with one but it did not work that way at all. took it off at the track and made the two fastest c6 pass to date 8.89 and 8.81 with the belt that came with the kit.

I just picked up a 39.x gates belt. I've got a part number if you'd like?

Yea I would actually. Please post it. Here is their online guide and it goes straight form 38.5 to 40.

I do not like running the Gatorbacks with F/I. The compound they use is soft and tends to stretch and slip. It might grab great or ok for N/A cars but I will not try them again on my setups. With higher boost with smaller pullies I had huge issues with belt slip with the 6 rib.

that's the napa part number. I can't remember exactly what the length is. I'm in the process of installing it right now. It's a major PIA. But my buddy said it's the belt you used back when he was running the same setup.

He said you have to keep all the blower to j-bracket, out except for the top one on the passenger side. Leave it loose, then pry that bitch into place lol.
