NIce to see wicked build being done not so far from me up in the great white north.

Makes me wish had done a 427 LSX instead of current 408 but can always do one down the road if feel need more power.

It is interesting to see you could push it as high as you did on 6psi springs. I have eboost2 as well and was wondering how high I have to go on base to get even to 20psi max and looks like my 7.5 should do it if 6psi did on your build.

Also if you are going 4l80 you can go to gear based boost ramping which should work best on the street.I think time based would work best on track.Rpm would maybe be second best on street giving it a boost curve like an centrifugal supercharger.

Also seriously considering going to racelogic variable traction control. Wish someone could do a plug and play harness for it.

Maybe you guys want to try it out on this monster build.

http://www.racelogic.co.uk/?show=Traction_Control

I am also curious how easy it will be to dyno my build on a chassis dyno. Do I need to go to a loading type rather than non loaded.

Do you guys have chassis or just engine dyno? May have to come out there to get things done ,Regina has only engine dyno and not pulling the engine out of the car to tune/test it. Saskatoon has mustang and one dynojet but not sure if the dynojet is newer one that can do loading or not.

Be interesting to see what you get when you chassis dyno your beast.

Well guess won't feel too bad if a certain car with alberta plates destroys my car.Obviously would be no shame in losing to a car like yours.

Oh yeah few more questions..What are you running for fuel system in terms of pumps, tank, lines?
Are you running stock ecu ? assume with hptuners or ls1edit?
Assume this build deletes the air conditioning?
Is the car going to do track runs ,is it getting rollcage and all that ?
What is he planning on running for rubber both on street and at track?
What suspenion is done or being done?
What rear end ,spool or locker and what gearing?
What exhaust is planned, true dual, catback with cutout?
So the pump was run no alc/meth injection at all? Is alc/meth planned ?

Wow looked up those injectors. They look impressive but man are they pricey! I realize they don't need no boxes and harnesses but really some low impedence work pretty good for about half that much bucks.Still nice to have options for big power cars.

We have both an engine and chassis dyno. Our chassis dyno is a mustang dyno.

We bought the eboost just for the fact that we can have differnt boost vs gear.

Base spring vs max boost varies with your back pressure.

Load type dyno is the only way to tune it. Other wise engine dyno.

Two Aeromotive eliminator pumps with check valves and weldon controller.

Second pump turns on at 17psi. -12 to filter then each pump then out with -10 to check valves then to -10Y out with one-10 to filter. up to Y then out with two -8s to each rail. Out of rails with -8s to pro series regulator out with -10 to B&M cooler then -10 to tank.

Stock ECU tuned with hp tuners and 3 bar OS scaled 50%.

Removed AC part of heater box so it still has heat.

Car has a bolt in rollcage already. It will see track duty at our private track rentals.

Nothing planned for bigger rubber at the moment.

Car has a S60 that has 4.10 for now which will get changed later on.

WE have a quicktimes 4" dump then it goes down to a 3.5" stainless works system.

Zero meth period.

Look at the pics it shows everything.

Having all the right injector constants makes all the differance in the world tuning on stock pcm. Also less to go wrong.

Awesome build guys! Definitey looking forward the final results once it's in the car. Very well thought out.

I just have a couple questions and I, along with everyone else, really appreciate all the the questions already answered!

Do you mind sharing the details on the shortblock? I understand it's an LSX block but did you leave the bore alone? What crank/stroke?

What heads are you guys running? What type of head-gasket setup are you using? Is it O-Ringed?

Thank you!

It's a JE piston and 4.125 bore. It has a lunati crank and rods with a 4" stroke. The heads are an All Pro CNC ported by West Coast cylinder head and flow over 400cfm. The head gaskets are an MLS Felpro 5 layer gasket without o-rings.

Car is sitting on all fours today! waiting for the Torque converter. Engine is pretty much all plumbed and wires. Should be running very soon.

Intercoolers are from Frozen Boost. Hot side pipes are 2.5" stainless

This whole build is big bucks. 1400 hp doesn't come cheap.
