Default 427 Twin Turbo LSX Dyno Video

Some pictures of a 02 Firebird build up

http://s943.photobucket.com/albums/a...20-%20%20Bill/

And the dyno video:

The goal is to run 100% pump gas all the time, but we tried some C16 on the dyno as well, just for fun! It was designed for straight pump so it did not pick up huge with race gas, but not bad.

where did you get the grill insert for the TA. I am looking at cutting mine out so I can let more air in to hit the radiator.

The engine is not 11:1 compression. That's the air-fuel ratio.

It's a non turbo k-member from UMI. The manifolds are a truck manifold and everything else was custom made.

your first dyno run 1276hp at 19-20 psi boost and the second run 1460hp with 23-24 psi of boost.
u gained almost 200 hp with a 3-4psi boost increase???

Each # of boost will pick up around 50hp, so 4# of boost should be around 200hp.

NRE uses twin 72mm's on their 454ci LSX and it makes 1,650 HP. Twin 88's on their 454ci LSX made 2,500 HP.

Imagine either of those in a street car.....YIKES.

This engine was not near it's full potential, but we chose not to go any further as the spring in the gates is a 6 psi spring and all it would make with that low spring was 23 psi. We need to have a low base boost to get some traction in first and second gear, so that's why. (And we didn't want to use CO2 to control the gates.) I'm sure this thing could have made 1700-1800 with 30 psi as each billet 67 will support 900+ HP easy.
