Default 3 bar MAP - install Qs

I bought a 3bar MAP, but its not the same size as the stocker. It also came with a DIY harness adapter... it looks like this:

So my next questions are:
  1. how do I install the MAP?
  2. does anyone out there have the info to wire up the adapter correctly?

Thanks for any help!

Well, I guess I will be the first to tell you.
That is a MAP Sensor you are asking about. Not a MAF sensor.

I would think the wiring would be the same in relationship to the connector.

isnt the stock one ground, 5v ref, and power? you would think it would be the same on this one. i'm guessing black is gnd, blue is 5v ref, and the red is power. look on your stock map, it may be on it what the wires are. I know one of the map sensors shows you what the wires are on it

So mount the MAP somewhere and run a vac line to it. I looked over the stock MAP tonight and I didn't see any markings for what is what... might have to find a wiring diagram for that circuit?

I suppose I could just leave the stock MAP in the rear of the LS6 intake then?

What is the best source of vac for the MAP?

after a quick search I came up with this

A = orange with black (sensor ground)
B = light green (sensor signal)
C = gray (sensor 5V reference)

you could tee the line for the evap junk on the drivers side front of the intake and use that or tee the other side of the intake that has a port there too

Or run a 1/4" NPT tap in the map sensor hole. Then screw a barbed fitting in the hole, run a line from there to sensor.

Interesting concept, but there isn't much meat to tap back there. I think I'll just use one of the vac sources on the front of the intake.

I will update on the tuning once I get the car rolling. I think I'm going to go back to a stock tune, then convert to 3bar OS, make a couple tweaks to the base tune and then start with the SD tuning.
