I talked to those guys before also, but they didn't mention trying again. Glad to see someone took that conversion further with them

Sign me up for one.

Hell, I'll buy two!! One for my 5.3 truck as well if they start making one for F-body cars.

I'm in. Doesn't really look to me, as an engineer, like it would be impossible to come up with a plan to make it fit. Somebody make sure Magnuson knows that if they need to move it forward for cowl clearance, that a redesigned hood (we can fight later about what THAT should look like ) isn't a bad option for most of us...

I have been wanting to install a roots blower forever. The idea of moving the blower foward was one thought but the efficiency of the blower would be effected. I have experience with blown intercooled big blocks and the last big increase in power we found included moving the blower back. Not that it is anything like the ls1 i have just tried to take some blown application experience to really look at trying this. Has anyone taken a look at making a custom intake besides magnusun? Im going to have a lot of time to look at this idea this summer with a few new items for blown applications at our shop. We have some good engineers there that may be able to help me with there experience. I dont have my hopes up but would really like to find a way to make it work. What a project it would be.

WS6MB if you have the means to fab up a lower intake you can buy the supercharger seperate. If you got it to work I'm sure you could get the intake cast and sell it, or sell the design to someone who could manufacture it. I guess I'm wishing, but good luck anyway.

It can be done. If this intake will fit with cowl modifications then the blower will fit with modifications. Unfortunately, I do not see windshield wipers.

Hell yeah I'm in. Cutting the cowl wouldn't be so bad if they worked up a template or instructions and such ya know.

I'll see what else Magnuson has to say about this. Their kit looks real good on the new GTO!
