Default F2 prochager ? Can I spin it with a rib belt/drive it on the street/ f1 pulleys fit

How loud is a F2. Can I use a rib belt ? Is it alot harder on the crank? Do F1 pulleys fit on it? Can I drive the f2 around like in a streetcar?

I'm running an F2 on the street but with a cog belt and sprag pulley. The F2 takes a lot of power to turn it and on the dyno it ate all the teeth off my first belt. It's a bit louder than say an F1c. You may stand a chance with a 12rib but are guaranteed to get slip in the upper rpms. The F1 pulleys would fit. With a big blower- a ribbed belt ain't the way to go.

That blower requires so much to even spin it that it will slip unless you go cog or gear driven. What is kind of street application is it that an F1-R won't work?

X2!...do some research. Theres D1SC cars making around 800rwhp, F1R-F1C cars making up to 1100rwhp. That should be plenty for a street car. We need more details on the setup and what car...etc..etc. In all reality a F1-XX should be enough to make a bad-*** street car. Give us some more details.

Why do I need to do more research ? Isn't that why I'm asking questions here? Why would u need to know more details of my set up to answer if a pulley would fit one supercharger to another one

How much power does it take to spin the f2 ? How my miles can I get out of a toothed belt?

An F2 is a totally different beast from what you see on most street cars.

No need to get defensive. It's not a good way to get people to want to help ya! Good luck in making it work, but even if it does I think you will end up with a cog belt/gear drive due to belt slip.

As long as you're not looking to take full advantage of the blower, you CAN do it... What's your goal? Big *** blower, street tires and 600rwhp?... Then yes, you can probably do it with a ribbed set-up with belt slip. F2 type HP, a dead hooking car with a violent 1st gear and big HP?... Nope... You'll hit a wall there. I've got a cheap set of 12-ribs with belts if you want to play around... They couldn't handle a max spun F1R without slip though .

What are you installing this in, a F-body or Corvette. We are installing one shortly on a streetcar, but are going with the Cog setup. You will probably need the cog setup to get any life out of the belt. The gear ratio is going to make a rib belt hard to live and spin the blower without any slippage.

The reason people are asking you about your total setup and what you are doing is to try and help you.... You can run an F2 on the street if you would like you could also run a F4 or F3 139 or F3X/R. There is a lot that goes into getting the right blower. Could you run a 110mm turbo with a 1.5ar? Yes but its all about your setup and what you are going to do and your budget.

What is your HP goal, motor size goal, car its going into, type of fuel and the amount you can spend. Help us help you...
