If none of this works then...its back to the tune. It sounds like its running fine in OL but when you add the o2s in there its modifying the fuel trims to the point it runs like ****. What wideband readings are you getting w/the o2s hooked up? You should unplug the o2s and see what youre getting also. Im guessing there will be a huge variance

There is. It idles extremely lean...like in the 15s. Off idle it goes leaner and then richens up a little, but still WAY lean.

The O2s I bought are the longer Corvette ones that work with headers...no need for extensions. So its not an O2 issue.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with this thing. I decided to try to take it around the block with the O2s unhooked, since it seemed to be safe (since it shows a little rich on the wideband). As soon as I put it in reverse and started to back out, it started bucking and surging and acting crazy, and the wideband was off the scale (literally) because it was so lean. I pulled it right back into the garage.

I have no idea what to look for next. It idles fine with the O2s unhooked...wideband shows 12.6. Just can't put it under load. Hook the O2s back up, and the idle goes way lean, and it surges if you give it any gas...also way lean. Injectors? I'm considering sending the computer back to Frost and having the stock tune put back on, and then swapping the stock injectors back on and seeing what happens.

I think its time to get HP Tuners man! Very strange happenings over there. Could very well be injectors with a host of other things.

I could get HPT, but I don't know enough to solve my own problems. Steve @ Frost still says it isn't in the tune.

Haha, I dont know much either but atleast you can save your tune to your computer and load in a stock one without shipping the PCM out.

We can put my all stock tune back into your car since they are both 2001's and see what happens.

I wouldn't mind doing that...just have to put the stock injectors back in. But can you load the stock tune without having to buy credits to tune my VIN?

I've never tried that so I'm not sure there. But we'll figure something out there. When I hook up to it I pull the existing tune. Then you can make changes and reload the new tune. Pretty easy to save. I should beable to pull the tune to look at without using any vins. Those only come into play when I put a tune back in.

Yeah, that's the problem I see, though...if I want your stock tune, I'm going to have to buy credits for you to be able to load it on there.

Don't worry about that part. We can work something there, I may need help on a project one day. It's about getting your car to run right.

No Problem. I'll let you know, right now this week will be crazy at work, but we'll see as we what tomarrow brings, and if I get off on time. 4-4:30.

I was in your shoes last year on the dyno with my friend's camaro. Needless to say we gave up at about 2 in the morning, never got it tuned (we started around 1pm) and ended up getting a Big Stuff 3. That is soooo easy to tune.

Cool, sounds good. I hear BS3 is awesome...my brother uses it on most of his big turbo builds.

I just thought of this. Is it possible they didn't put the new perameters in for those 60's. Because if they didn't then it is thinking you still have stock injectors in it and would make it crazy lean also.

The tune is for the 60s...Dustin checked that when he was over here with HPT.
