So are you saying there are no rules other than an LS1? Define "LS1" please. I know of a few that would show for sure. Especially at that location

Ronnie....might check with Bill Wright and see what date the COFBA has their spring track rental. Could be a good time to do this.

Ok im telling you right now this race is a bad idea with the open rules.

Im in for this race if you guys are serious.

Ill be bringing a tube chassis 1600 lb f-body car that will run easily into the 7''s with my ls1 in it.....for 15 grand its easily worth the time and work.

Please tell me your not serious because for 15 grand i will be there in either form.

Hmmmmmmmm ARE still has thier 1100 HP 422 motor, for 15 grand I guarantee Wade would drop that into a tube chassis Outlaw Camaro he has sitting around and rip off some serious times

I'll be sure to point this out to him.

Ok......well if this race happens expect a low 7 second tube chassis f-body camaro /w GM part #'s and its going to ruin the race for alot of people...

I think you guys need to put a weight limit in if you plan on making this work.

Like 3000lbs etc. stock style rear suspension, no tube chassis type cars etc

So it is a production vehicle issued a VIN by the factory? If so, then you should be fine. Ronnie is looking for LS1, C5R, and LSx platform, running in a factory manufactured vehicle (e.g., f-body, Corvette, etc.).

I received an email from Ronnie (1badls1) regarding the race. This is for real cars, not tubular cars and the like. This is a call-out! If you think you have what it takes to run with the big boys, put down your $500 and show up
