Im currently a Mechanical Engineering student and will be graduating this May. You two did a very nice job on making the kit. You can tell everything was planned carefully and well thought out. Nice bends every where, and I really like the intake merge collector for the two turbos! Is it 3" dual to 4" single?
I am planning on being a future customer ;-) hopefully by the end of summer!

The 2-1 merge is 2 1/2 to 3 1/2. 3 1/2 from the merge all the way to the throttle body.
The pipe running to the throttle body in the pic's is setup for a speed density arrangement.
I have them for mass air if you are running a mass air meter.
You can't see it in the pic's but it is setup for a screw in IAT sensor and has (3) 1/8 NPT ports for water injection, nitrous or what ever you may need.

I am sorry to say it but after going over all the material cost and paying Chris Bounds for his "out of this world abilities" that he rightfully deserves, we had to raise the price.
There was no other option. Guys, Chris and I spent 2 weeks of phone calls strategically bouncing ideas off one another in order to lower the price, but unfortunately the only way to lower the price was to make it less of a kit, and we couldn't do that.
I'm sorry but it is what it is....
An expensinve top of the line Twin turbo F body kit plain and simple

I mentioned this in the other thread about the kit, what heat management have you put in place for the heatside? Any plans to make soem heat shiralds for the manifolds/turbos? IT looks like the manis are coated at the moment is that true?
Thanks,
Chris.
Thanks,
Chris.

yes they are coated, as far as heat mangement is concerned I don't anticipate it will be an issue. Since we were very careful NOT to disturb the stock cooling system by not impeding its air flow I don't suspect we will have any engine compartment heat issues.
The APS kit has a large intercooler in front of the radiator we do not, I believe that this difference will play a large part in that.

Turbo setups run hot in general, there still will be hot underhood temps. Those pipes get hot and will heat soak alot of things. Alittle sheilding wouldnt be a bad idea. Atleast on my car, in my experience, the underhood temps are intense compared to a n/a build. I wrapped and insulated as much as i could to prevent wires and such from melting

like to see how this kit holds up months down the road, for 10k i would want to see proven dyno results. for another 2k you can get a true proven kit from lmr or kytp which is proven to work, dont really like the idea of using log manifolds i see maybe 5k in parts I know there has been almost 2 years in research and developement, so dont understand the 50% mark up.
best of luck with the ppl who buy this kit now lets see some results!!!

You guys have not seen the tip of the iceberg from a engineering stand point.
Just wait until this install is over with, you will rethink your comments.
I would like to have you as a customer, after this install you will see what you have been missing.

I think you've been extremely creative. Hopefully the $2000.00 increase right from the beginning doesn't effect your sales. Sometimes biting the bullet and offering introductory pricing helps get your product going. Best of luck. It's a fine looking system...
