Have faith in this dude...I never met him, never spoke to him, but from the looks of things he has his act together...taking his time, getting patents...this isn't just about parts, isn't just about business, its his life...he wants repeat business...so the dude is gonna do it right.
I'm really feeling the integrated air intakes, it really makes the most out of the space you have to work with!

I never met ModularTurbo either but I did talk to him for about an hour and a half while weaving through Bay Area traffic. I called him to talk about his lightweight batteries but the conversation turned to his turbo kit. ModularTurbo definitely loves this **** and will do it right. I could have easily talked with him for another hour and a half or even longer if traffic wasn't getting bad. He's definitely a good dude.

The motor will bolt to the K-member with a set of custom mounts that bolt to the block
in the stock location.
This was done to make room for the large T4 turbos with 60 series compressor covers.
The air intakes on the K-member will get a short piece of tubing with a hose bead rolled on the end and a silicone coupler will clamp to that.
A tube leaving the coupler will go into the bumper cover where the filters will mount.

Bad ***. so i have been reading through this and people talk about a single kit and twin kit. is the F1 a single and the F2 a twin?
when is the kit ready to ship?
and can a person buy it with no turbos and no waste gates but with everything else? and if not. then can you help me pick out a turbo? wait turbos?

I have a question to ask everyone!!!
Where would you guys prefer to have the A2W reservoir?
option 1:
In the hatch area (hidden) this would stop you from stowing T tops back there though.
or
option 2:
In the spare tire area which would cause you to no longer have a space for your spare tire.

you would need to be able to add ice, drain it, etc etc etc.
Once the water gets warm, the a2w would be pointless. Leaving the water in there on a 100 degree day, your going to want to drain it, and refill it otherwise your running 100* water through the IC, not going to really do much IMO

The screw type blowers don’t take up any room in the bumper cover area, so they can put a water tank up front.
The battery area doesn’t provide the room for a large enough tank.
And water would stay heat soaked in the battery area.
If you put it there you would need to move the battery to the rear anyway.
The tank that’s going in the spare tire area will hold 6.2 gallons, that’s full to the top.
When you leave a little space between the top of the tank and the water it will easily hold 5 gallons.
Factor in the lines, intercooler and heat exchanger and you have a ton of intercooling capacity.

Is your web page down? I tried looking you up. Do you have any kits out yet? I have a DIY rear mounted GT-88 that I want to move up front. I already have the BMR turbo K member on the car. I want to keep the AC but it looks like that will have to go. Car is an 02 f-body, do you have anything for it yet? I am not conserned with the AWI, I already have a front mounted A-A intercooler and methonal injection, which is working perfectly. Oh, and I replaced my Garrett T-6 1.08 AR turbine housing with a Precision Turbo T-4 .9? housing, and I still have the old housing. Running a 4L80E now too.
Thanks

The MP 60-1 through T70 T4’s with a compressor 4” inlet and 2-1/2 outlet will fit the kit.
I’ll look into the GTK series for you.
We currently have mounted the MC 78 and the MP T70 on the kit.
It boils down to any tang housing T4 3” V-band discharge turbo with a 60 series
comp cover will fit this kit.
Don’t feel that you have to put a pair of 70’s or 78’s on this kit if you have a mild motor.
Turbos from 450 hp each through 900 hp each with a host of compressor and turbine
wheels to mix and match will fit this kit.
There’s a turbo combo for everyone!

^^^ well i want a set that will have great response with a 10:1 compression motor. 377ci. and i will shift around 6,500rpm. so if i could get a turbo that is great between 3k and 6k that would be ideal.
thanks
