Yeah its a bad *** SS...It's a LMR creation and all of their street machines come with a parachute. This SS make over 1000hp to rear wheels. The wheels are one off wheels. I saw this car at a show and it just pure insanity. Which is the sole reason for my twin turbo install. Try going to their web site and e-mail their parts dept. http://www.latemodelracecraft.com/

I assure you it is anything but a street car with a chute, Ive seen this car in person many times. its a 427 with i think twin super T70's, was trapping 243 mph at the 3/4 mile mark of the standing mile last march when the alternater ate it and the motor followed suit (fuel pumps lost voltage it went lean fast)

Oh yea it's a badass car for sure. The owner spared no exspense on that car. He has a procharged mustang also.

October 2012 Texas Mile
The car clocked 262.2 MPH in the Texas mile in October 2012. I will be going to watch the car this week-end in the March Texas Mile in Beeville, Texas. The only car to beat this car last October was John Hennesseys GT Ford and it was by 3/100th of a MPH. The owner expects 280+ for this week-end's Texas mile competition. The owner has brought the car to Houston Cars and Coffee on a couple of occasions.

Last I checked Kelly's car was well over 1800rwhp! Power has never been that cars problem......cannot say the same about traction.
I have always wanted to know what tires are on it to be safe @ 260-280mph

That car was built by LMR. They did an amazing job with it, now I believe LMR isnt working on that, KP Racing is. Joe Honeycutt from KP Racing is the tuner of that beast. They will be trying to break into the 180mph mark this year
