on ebay, total doesnt sell them direct to customers, only suppliers. Search on ebay they come up as i think 59.99 a set.

Well the motor is in for now while I build the hotside...

Deffinitly have to build headers as the manifolds arent even close. Also the motor sits so god damn far back compaired to the LT1, I dont even think I can pull the heads with the motor in!

Anyways here are a couple pics, didnt do too much work just organized all my **** haha.

Also need a cowl hood

Jay

Just gonna run an LS1 fbody pan, I think i measured around 11.5-12 inches from the rear cover to the kmember.

LOL I could have told ya the part about the 6.0 manifolds not working. I found out the hard way! Anyways, this looks like a bad *** build. I'll be watching closely. I'm in the process of the same thing right now but on a 5.3. Best of luck!

btw, the manifolds from the 5.3 GXP's may work. Not entirely sure but looking at the engine bay I think they would.

Factory GM exhaust manifold gaskets are good. No problems here.

Agreed. The stock GM MLS exhaust manifold gaskets are very good, even with aftermarket manifolds. Aftermarket paper header gaskets = junk.

Well got some more parts, ended up getting the pan, oil pump and all accessories of someone on the board (will not mention unless he doesnt take care of the situation)

I would be further but upon opening the boxes I find, a melling pump (2 dyno pulls so he said, mint) HUGE scoring on the inside, there is a chunk of lifter retainer clip jambed in the housing) then I go an degrease all the parts he tossed in a bag, find my power steering missing the pulley and a crack on the front and back of the reservoir, then notice the balancer has a scrap about 1inch long will missing material, looks like he had the motor on the ground and drug it on the balancer.

So this will put me behind more and I will need to order and source a bunch more parts!

Anyways thats the end of the rant haha

Also got my compstar rods off a guy on here which were very nice!! and efi live off another guy on here hahah

Jay

Great updates! worked hard today on the headers, got the passenger side done in 3.5h start to finish other then cutting the end of the collector.

Also last night i ran all my fuel lines and had them all crimped today.

So fuel system DONE!!!

The flanges I made on a CAD software, and had a friend cut them since I cant get any machine time at work due to crazy overload!

Also the flanges are 1/2 thick!

The headers are 1 3/4 due to LS ports stock being 1.72ish, also they are welded completely around the inside of the port

Enjoy!

Jay

Well took me 2h total and finished the drivers side!
Now either wait for v-bands and my turbo T6 flange or just send the motor out now....hmmm

No big updates, I got the wiring harness complete last night other then just doing the fuse panel, But I will finish that once I am wiring the car up.
I finished off the fuel lines, and got another shipment in also.

Melling Hi-pressure pump
Hughes Flexplate and adapter SFI
DEI titanium header wrap, 1inch and 2 inch
DEI Plug wire sleeving
Thermo Cool 2000* Heat tubing (for my brake lines)
TONS of AN fittings incase I need them hahah

Also picked up some LS9 head gaskets and some V-bands for the crossover.

Ill post some pics when stuff gets more interesting haha

And hopefully I will be picking up a Cowl hood tomorrow, and am awaiting an email on some Patroit Stage 3 317s!!!

Also the block will go in to start the build this weekend if I have time or Monday morning!

Jay
