Block torn down, and some new goodies

Engine had 124K miles and the bottom end was mint, cant even feel grooves on the crank, bearing were good etc.

yes you can, the LQ bored .030 over is a 4.030 bore, the LS9 is a 4.100 bore gasket. It isnt an issue and will work no problems, many guys running them.

also i went with the regular patriots bc summit had them and I was spending 2000 there anyways haha.

My cam is only a .588 lift anyways.

hahaha never!!! TH400 is good for me! A glide would probablly get annoying on the street, I drive this car on the street alot and drive 200KM to the track (i know the glides 2nd is a 1:1 like a th400)

Finally got the crank pulley off, now I have a bare block!

Also started unpinning the stock truck harness to delete everything not needed, emissions, rear o2's, oil pressure, maf, ac, transmission etc

started out nice and then ended messy once I undid all the loom and all the harness turned into a big ball haha.

Im gonna get all the sensors in place on the motor tomorrow and do it all on the motor to make it easier haha

Ill have some more pics soon

Also awaiting my motor mounts so I can start my hotside!

This is how it was lookign before I found the crank cracked...

I think the current turbo will run outta steam around the 750ish mark my guess, i will be upgrading to a S480 next.
This time im looking for around the 7-800rwhp mark.

700ish street form would be nice, then crank it to 20psi and give her some 116octane for the track
