they stick out too far and hit the shock tower. They can be made to work, but its easier to just build your own.

Too bad you arent going LSX, then you could get the stainless works forward facing headers. I have never seen forward facing headers on an LT1. I converted over to an LS2 and will be running the stainless works/KYTP headers.

my org plan is to go turbo lsx and run 275 radial racing..i was just seeing if these would fit seeing i know they fit on some things..i dont mind welding up or notching my shock tower to make them..only reason why im thinking about sticking with the lt1 is due to the fact it looks like the stock blocks when built right can take 1300-1400hp..i can get 23 degree **** cheap but probley will go lsx still..

drivers side. Hits steering shaft. Could move it but will also have to modify shock tower. Basically a big cluster on those. better to just save money and build your own.

driver side hits the column, pass side hits the shock tower. Over on TTF i made a thread asking for dimensions for "ssautochrome turbo headers" and somebody posted the dimensions in there.

for the couple hundred you are going to spend on those, just buy two flanges, and some 90* bends, and you can make your own just as cheap. The amount of reworking required is going to take the same time and money to just build your own set. Everyone on the pass. side needs cut down i believe an inch and a quarter closer to the block. driver side just needs to be re routed (i think the front primary is the only one that clears).

? Guess everyone has has diffrerent fitment issues. I've had them on a 85 trans am with the only issue hitting the steering shaft. I have made a steering shaft to fit the headers. I'll post pictures up monday to show you the shaft and where its tight.

yeah my car is a 94.

from what i have gatherd the log style headers on summit for 275$ for s10s and v8s will work.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ADD-717052-NP/

the s10 swap shorty headers with also work you just have to mod #7 and make it go up an over the other header tubes an they are around 140$ for them.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/BIG-11502FLT/

Also i found the sanders v8 swap shorty angle plug headers look like they will fit also for 295$ with no modding and are a full tube style header unlike the log..

those advanced adapters logs, the one that you put on the driverside fits no problem.

The one u put on the passenger side needs the log massaged to clear the motor mount.

People on TTF have had issues with them cracking too. I didnt have any issue with mine though.

good info..at that price i would just get the sanderson headers...im talking to some one else on a dif board and they ran the ss autochrome ones and said they had no problem with the shock tower or motor mounts they just had to fix the number 7 tube from hitting..im waiting for a message back from him now to see how much clearance problem there was..i know a couple people in diff cars that have had to heat them up and hit them with a hammer to clear the steering.
