IF you want to do that and not have heads lift then built a 414 big block with a 106m turbo like my freind craigs car. He just set a 10.5 tire record and went 7.06 at 203mph in a lt1 body. oh and this is not streetable...

I do remember Blackdemon on ls1.com a year ago, he claimed high power goals, he also told me his set up back then, but wanted to keep it secret.
for his mods i though tthe power was a bit off, but i suppose its posible.
He could have even boosted his output since then

but 1200rwhp thats a streetable car, doesnt seem like its going to happen, unless your in a supra Dawg :jest

His car is real, I know people personally who have seen it up close and they've seen it run. I'm also pretty sure that Thunder built it and agreed never to talk about it to anyone.

When he first became a member his signature had the RWHP & RWTQ next to the other info about the car, he took it off because he was getting killed with PM's and e-mails. Now it just says, "2001 Formula 382 stroker Vortech boosted" Under that is his '03 Cobra with 511 RWHP.
There's a few Supra guys that talk about him on the Supra forums because he whipped there *** on the HWY.

He gets the 802 RWHP on pump gas to and IIRC, 16 lbs. Not sure though.

Here's one excerpt from one of his e-mails to me,

"My dyno #'s were X-Trim at 16 psi was 802RWHP and 768FTLB's ...

I am going to bump it up to 20 psi and put some slicks on the back and see if I can hit 9 flat or better @ 155+

As you know I miraculously got my insurance company to pay for my entire repair of my 436. But like I told you I have to lay out the cash first, then they'll reimburse me. I should have the cash in a few more weeks, as soon as I get paid for the Trenton Airport job.

If that Weiand system is still available when I get my money I'll buy it for sure. Have the intake ported and port matched and jet it for 300 with a progressive controller. Or jet it for a 150 shot and do the 150 wet shot with it.

I only know one place where 1200hp could be street driven....
Make-believe Land

Also, Ronnie's car makes a lot of power...what I was told was 4-digit. More importantly, it runs the number...which is much more important than a dyno #.

If you want an insane twin turbo system, here are your guys. http://bankspower.com/twin-turbo-products.cfm

427 CI small block, 35 lbs boost and 1600 hp. Probably 1600 fwhp, but I would imagine that would be plenty to get the job done.

exactly you can get a supra dyno 1000fhp, and run 11.2s and be perfectly streetable on race gas,

Very delicately. And its a done deal to. I'm just waiting for Dave at ARE to get back to me, I don't know if I should just send it to ARE for the repair or Norris.

Its already done pretty much. The shop has already been paid, I should be getting my check this week or next. I think its the only break I've gotten regarding this project so I'm gonna take full advantage. Hell, I've been paying for this type of coverage for almost 6 years.

ya i figured the myth was true. I was one of the guys who PM'ed him once.
i think he is also spraying some on top of the super charger and stroker.

but that would be crazy if he got that 800rwhp on pump. his CR must be extremly low for that power level on pump.

hmm he should be entering the Hot Rod street car pump gas challenge.

He's not spraying the car at all, and YES, it is on pump gas. He's going to use race gas and turn the boost up to try to get into the 8's. I believe it is very low CR.

If you really want what you say you do and you have the $$$, go to LPE and talk to Tim Dyer or Ed Potter, and they will give you a sreetable 8 second car (will require race gas for mid to high 8 second runs, but pump gas should be good for mid 9's). Oh, and it won't be cheap. In a vette to run easy 9's at 150 will take about $50,000+ in work there. There number is 260-724-2552. they have a 427 camaro with a 150 shot that run's 9's...and a couple of vettes that use turbos (346, 382, and 427) that are easily capable of low 9's and the big dog will probably be around an 8.70 in good weather. If I had the money I would do a vette with them in a heartbeat....but I don't so I will stick with my hillbilly camaro and am adding some huice to run 10's on radials.

flynbludream,

I just heard back from Curtis at Gayle Banks, he said they can easily build a 1200 RWHP twin-turbo set-up, 1600 RWHP if I want, which they have ready to ship. Here's what he said they will use, his e-mail excerpt:
The 1200hp is a Dartcast block with Dart 18' aluminum heads at 396ci, and the 1600hp is a Dart aluminum 9.5" block with Dart Little Chief heads.

Streetable and daily drivable with A/C, no problem.

You would think an F-Body would go 7's with that monster in it:
http://bankspower.com/twin-turbo-products.cfm

He is beyond the MAN when it comes to forced induction.
