Default Gear for turbo car

Im trying to figure out what gear to put in my rear end. Im posting here due to it being a turbo car. so this is what i have. 96 firebird, between 3600-3400lbs. mabe lower hopefully. 370ci engine, pt91.5 turbo, powerglide trans Im gonna rund like a 325 drag radial and the rear end is a for 8.8. Im thinking of a 355 gear but i wanted to see what you guys think. If any more information like cam and heads are needed let me know so i can post it. thanks guys. Oh the times i trying to shoot for is mid 8's at least

that should work well...I ran a 3.70 with my 366/98mm combo

what would you guys do with a 28" tire in a 3000lb car? 5.3 tc76

with your 366/98 combo what did you run? and what was your mph and what did you shift at and spin your motor to.

mostly 1/8 mile stuff...but ran out the back door to 7.99 @ 177. Best mph 181. shifted at ~8K

I'm running a 3.55 gear and wish I could go to a 3.25. 8.98 @ 153 on 28" tire (325/50/15) and going thru at 7400 RPM.

it was very slow for the power level...car ran mid 140s in the 1/8 pretty consistantly. it just wouldn't get up to good boost for 2 seconds of the run so it always left like a turd...I was owned by the low compression

29.5 141mph 6% slip but i only cross the traps at 6300.... More Gear or Losen the converter?
