Break it it for about 10 miles. Make sure you drive at least 2 blocks backward to get the gears meshing the opposite direction a little. Then drive it like you stole it!

yes it came with an out of tank fuel pump and i did use the injectors that came with it.. i was suppose to get a power programmer but they couldnt get me one so i sent it to a place in Arizona and had it tuned for everything i have in it including the tires. thanks for the help!! also if i took it up to about 9 pounds do you think i put to much strain on the stock internals??

you could be running into fuel problems because the injectors vortech supplies are way to small, they are only 38lb injectors I believe. You could try and upgrade to 42lb or 60lb injectors. I have 60lbs and my car pulls hard to 65k rpms and never runs out of fuel. Also, with my set-up I ended up making 9.2lbs of boost and am on the stock bottom end. So far so good, I've been driving it a ton lately, no issues. A good tune is key to a long lasting set-up

ok well im pretty sure mine came with 42lb injectors.. any way to tell just by looking?? my mechanic said i have to install a bigger pressure regulator that will squirt more fuel when hitting higher boost. the only bad thing is i have to run a return line back to the tank now. how hard is it to run a return line if i dont already have one?

transam151, you made some nice numbers with the FMIC. To the poster, you don't need a boost referenced regulator at this level.

Yea I was pretty surprised I made 9.2lbs at 65k. I used all of your old custom IC piping and the 2.95" pulley you sent me. As far as the intercooler goes, I picked up a thick 4" godspeed (ebay) unit and it seems to flow pretty well. Recently I designed my own air intake too with 2 large twin filters since I couldnt pick up one of spectacle solutions lids anymore. I also trimmed up my fiberglass ram air hood and really opened the scoops up, a ton of air is getting in there now. I'm in the process of now modifying a BMR radiator support to go around my intake and dress up the engine bay a little bit and get some additonal support for the radiator. I'll tell you, from going from the sealed air box to the twin 4" filters, I felt a definite seat in the pants difference. My camera took a **** on me but Im going to get a new one at put up pictures hopefully next week.
