Unless you get under the car to look you'd never guess it was there. I cut the bumper so that it covers most of the bottom of the intercooler, leaving a thin strip visible in the middle if you get low to the ground and look for it. I never did get around to taking a picture head on with the bumper back on. I'll take a couple pictures when I'm at the shop working on the car this Saturday.

It took maybe 4-5 hrs. Just had to figure out how I wanted it, and then cut it very carefully with a dremel.

i did the turbo myself...they fucked the roll cage up, the carpet and floor pans...i tried to sue them but they closed up shop.....may they burn in hell

I forgot to mention meth will be used so will a smaller IC be sufficient even with 25 lbs from an F1?

I did what most people did, cutout the front lic plate area. I also changed mine to a front feeder at the same time but removing the air damn & tying the bottom of the facia to the FMIC. I had to add one shroud piece.

The 'teeth' are fucntional for mounting the lic plate to (stupid laws). And I have seen 120* on the dyno on an 80* day, but never above 110 on the track with an F1 @ 14-16 psi.

I'm doing it right behind the front bumper also. Sorry to hack the thread, but where did you guys go to get intercooler piping? I'd like to run aluminum. Thought that question might help ya out also!

What size is the intercooler tho? I am looking at 31x12x4 but not sure if that is too big!?

the 31x12x4 is what 95% of these ics are. the ebay special. theres room for alot more!

Ok so you saying like the CXracing intercooler from ebay then i am taking it. What bout the size of intercooler piping? Is 3in good enough for a f1a?

yes theres like 10 different companies that are all over the place seling the same cheap chinese 31x12x4 IC. and everyone runs them. as for the 3'' with F1 ill let one the of experts chime in.
