Ha, yeah, but either way they really tie the theme together. Thats why I made the "Twin Turbo" big and the "CID" small in reverse of the original badge.

Yep, that they do man. Once I get my beast done I'll find someone to make me something like that too. I gotta take it back apart for a turbo upgrade . The madness starts as soon as I get my tax refund and sell off my old turbos and downpipes.

Yeah, +1 for tax refunds! My next project is to build a good budget LSX to swap into my little IS300 Lexus.

Lol, why do I have one of those too? Mine's an 02, black on black just like my T/A except it's an automatic. It's a fun little grocery getter but that damn 2JZ drinks gas like it has 8 cylinders instead of 6 . I thought about doing the Supra 2JZ swap on it a while back, but it was either that or twins for the T/A. Maybe if I win the lottery or something I'll look into hooking up the IS300, but for now it's gonna stay stock.

I have the EXACT same car! Swapping a GTE in there would cost more than an LSX swap. Those cars are PERFECT for swaps cause 1) the LSX pretty much drops right in with virtually no modification to the car or k-member itself, 2) you can sell the old 2JZ to some dumbass for as much or more than you payed for the LSX, 3) it shaves about 80 lbs. off the front end of an already super light 4 door car, 3) it will get WAY better gas milage with the LSX and a 6 speed, 4) the car has a separate independent computer for all the accessories (ABS, speedo, TCS, HVAC, etc.) so you simply add in a stock GM ECU for the motor and everything works like stock, and 5) people will **** when they hear a Lexus drive by with a throaty American V8 sound and their jaws will drop when you pop the hood. Love that little car! I'm gonna do an LS6 or LS2 with a tame cam, with a quiet exhaust (with cutouts of course), and my nitrous kit on top of it. An 11 sec Lexus for under 10k should be fun!

Look at me hijacking my own thread here, lol.

Anyway, look up Dedicated Matt (ATSMATT on here). He did this swap in less than 2 weeks from scratch and DD's his car. He is working on a complete limited production swap kit with headers, motor mounts, and everything you will need to drop it right in.

I been reading up on that swap since I saw your reply and I'm kickin myself in the *** for not thinking of that. That might be my next project once the T/A is back on the road But that'll have wait for a while, the T/A is gonna be making an appearance on the streets of Japan next year so it's gonna need all my attention... and money

Your moving to Japan? Are you in the Navy or something? That will definitely blow some minds over there, lol.

Already moved man, I just got outta the Marine Corps 3 months ago and I'm doing the civilian thing over here near Hiroshima. I have to de-mod the car to get it to pass the initial inspection though.... but once it does, I know a place where I can get it to "pass" every time I thought about getting a GT-R Skyline, but I can get my car over here for a lot less than what I would pay for a halfway decent GT-R over here. And once it's finished, it'll be safe to say that I'll have the only (if not, then one of the few) twin turbo Trans Am in Japan
