Default meth injection kit.

I assembled a meth injection kit but I did not use a check valve between the pump and the jet. Is it necessary to have it. What is the purpose of it ?
Will the engines vaccum suck the meth into the motor on idle and decel.

Mocal HD pump on relay
devils own adjustable pressure switch
devils own jets sizes 4,7.
50/50 water meth mix

A good system will automatically know when and how much meth to spray. None when in vacuum and gradually going higher with climbing boost.

I've been doing some reading and I'm going to use a solinoid. Thats the right thing to do.
My pump turns on @ 6psi and above. Not progressive.

Wow I misread the question
I thought you were asking what in general a meth system does and if it sprayed on idle and decel
Sorry man I'm freakin tired

its a pressurized check valve, if your tank/pump are higher then the jet it will siphon the alky out of the tank, as long as the jet is higher it should be fine without the check valve

This sounds interesting. But I don't know what you mean
Can you explain what you did?

The Jet should not be seeing vaccum as the jet shouldn't be in the intake itself if should be before the TB so you shouldn't see vaccum at the Jet.

The check valve is to prevent meth syphoning out of your system under decel and cruise.

get one and you'll be good to go.

I ended up using a solinoid from my old nitrous kit. My intake temps must have been really high because the car seems to pull harder now. I'm only using a little #4 jet with a 50/50 water meth home brew. My AFR is now in the low 11's.

Default Where did it all go

I topped up my bottle today before going for a drive. I stopped to check how much I used and it was empty. It went through 4 liters in 80 miles. Is something wrong. Is vaccum sucking it into the motor ? Maybe I have the solinoid wired wrong ?
