Pistons for Boost

Pistons for Boost I blew my stock pistons/rings boosting and I need to know what I should do about replacing them. I dont have the option to do anything but new pistons. What should I go with? I dont mind getting boost pistons to lower compression a bit.

Diamond Pistons for sure! Most guy's on this board are running them if they have replaced pistons. Give me a call and we can dicuss what you need. You also can get them direct through me. They have a couple blower/turbo pistons on the shelf. You might be able to use them.

I bought Diamond pistons for my engine and had to send them back to be remachined because the skirts hit the counterweights on the crank. Not very good attention to detail for an $1100 set of pistons if you ask me.
So now I have a $400 bill from my engine builder for disassembly of the rings/rods and removing the crank from the block and re-balancing after the pistons are remachined because they are lighter now. Chris at diamond also promised me 1 day turn around on the remachining, but he quit Diamond to go work for AP and just left my pistons sitting on his desk and never scheduled them to be remachined. If I hadn't called looking for them who knows how long they would have sat there as a paper weight.
Evidently with Diamond I didn't get what I paid for.
We will see if they reimburse me for my out of pocket expenses resulting from their screw up.

Boost junkie, sorry about the pistons. They arrived to Diamond the day I left. So there was not much I could do about them. To be honest with you I did not even see them show up. If so I would have scheduled them to be fixed and turned them around in one day for you. On Diamonds side they are doing what they can to get you fixed up and back on track. Once again, I apologize for not being able to see them through for you. I am sure that Diamond will overnight them back to you.

Diamond did however get my pistons shipped out to me this morning.
And low and behold they are not machined correctly, they only took material out of #8 piston on 1 side, didn't even touch any of the other pistons.
So now I have a voice mail in to Ron to see who screwed up this time.

They're some of the best pistons on the market, but trying to get them can be a pain in the ***.
Sorry again guy's for the mistakes. Since I am no longer at Diamond I am not sure how much say I still have left. I will see what I can do. Hopefully we can eliminate these problems in the future.
