no reason to build the motor lots of 4.8 guys are in the 600-700rwhp range.

IATs are 72 deg rock solid nearly on only 6psi and on 12psi they were only just touching 90deg highest after many many dyno runs in a row non stop

stock internals will net big power, more then most can handle. Motors blow cause they are in the wrong hands

I've got that 4.8 in my truck also. I know what you mean by 1/4 throttle over WOT...
Pulls my T/A with no problem.
Do you plan the engine staying togather at 10+ pounds?

yeah we could go short bursts on 12psi with the stock injectors

read a few of the other articles posted on the earlier pages with guys using 88mm turbos and making 600-700hp

Get it to the track. I have all the turbo stuff in my garage. But I just ran a new best of 12.6 in the heat last night on nitrous. Id like to see what that turbo does before I put it on my truck.

This is just nuts.

Takes a big set to take a new truck and do this too.

Awesome.

alright guys, question time

th400 is in, and as i figured, there are some hiccups.

the truck wont start without the other trans plugged in, im sure because of a neutral safety thing built into the ecu, when you plug in the other trans, the truck fires up, and then dies,

im presuming again because it doesnt see the trans spinning...

anyway to disable all this **** easily?
