me and corey swapped converters today, its ****** perfect now.

the converter stalls like 2500 and stops, then you can pump up the brakes, floor the gas, it hits like 6psi, then keeps going up, itll open the gate on 10psi and then its at like 3400 rpm, holds tight.

tomorrow we are going to do some more tuning and bring the boost to 14psi

11.5 afr on 10psi it was destroying that converter too.

we just swapped converters today with another car we had.

So has this been dyno'ed again after the baseline? sorry if it was posted, but I don't remember reading any newer numbers. That just has to feel amazing in a truck that big!!!

nah, we like to dyno at the track haha.

we are gunna dyno it again tomorrow and see how it does, but i have a small roller dynojet and before, it hit 9psi on the dyno and 12psi on the street

now that it has a good driveshaft i guess i could rip it in 3rd gear on the dyno tomorrow and see what it puts down.

probably a decent amount of power.

the truck will run alot better at the track with this converter in it that doesnt suck.

well with the truck hitting close to 13psi on the street we figured we would try to dyno it on the rollers, this truck hates the dyno, doesnt make full boost and runs rich as ***** on the dyno only, but we figured why not...

well it ran 10psi and it was 10.0 AFR and here is how it did in 2nd gear

3rd did the same thing, and it hit 160mph and i let out lol converter seems very efficient to hit that kind of mph whew.

also having a problem over 14,500 freq on the mafs, it wont take anymore fuel and it runs lean no matter what over 14psi

any guesses?

I have the same problem trying to spool the turbo on the dyno when the converter is unlocked. Try spooling it with the brakes a little and then let it rip. I have also used the dyno brake to help spool it but my buddy doesn't like doing that to his dyno too often so we just hold it a little with the trucks brakes.

I'm running 2bar SD tune. How did your fuel pressure and IDC's look? Sounds like you might be out of fuel. Are you running meth?

At 14psi I'm at 85% IDC and I'm running a single 625cc meth nozzle on top of dual 255's and 60lbs injectors.

It's actually at 13,050 Hz that it starts running lean and I don't think we ever got over 13,500Hz.

its a possibility, but it must be delivery or something, because 2x255s and 80lb injectors should get it done.

might have to hot wire the pumps and see how it does, or convert it to return on the stock evap line

I assume you have a returnless system. I would think that two 255 pumps and 80lb injectors would be enough but I would check your fuel pressure and see if its dropping off. I know a lot of people convert to a return style system to help.

I run 2xWalbro 255 w/8 gauge power wire/ 80lb injectors at 58psi (around 92lb), 8an feed, return style. I was at 79% duty at 617HP on E85. Now with a 75 dry shot, i'm around 95%. Should be around 700 wheel and i'm about out of fuel. Love the e85, but it sucks down roughly 20% more fuel.

Also, Denmah, nice build man. Enjoy reading the updates.

Can you explain a little more about your setup? I am confused at how you are running E85 and only at 79% and He is over 80% but running much less power.... is the difference in fuel pressure really that much more, or could he be running EXTREMELY rich? Sorry for the NOOB questions but I would assume with similar setups the E85 should run out far sooner than the pump gas....

John

EDIT: I guess he never said where he was at Duty Cycle wise, Maybe I should just stay out of it

Also, Is that the stock cam making the torque peak so high??
