Looks like you should of burned those shackles in hotter. I love the simplicity of this build.

a bunch of mid 12s.

we are stuck i guess till we find out whats commanding this higher afr in the tune for some reason.

truck feels like a rocket till that afr goes up and my friend has it set to pull timing and he lets out of the gas then too of course lol

Until they break one day, turn the heat up and get better penetration.

Don't take it as a shot but that is a structural part and by the way the weld built up like that means it was not getting good penetration. Just a suggestion i would grind everything down and turn your machine up were you can get the weld to lay down and see the penetration on the opposite side of the material you welded. Weld it out 100% also This is just a suggestion because i would hate to see that let go at high speed.

quick update, there are now junkyard 4.10s in the truck, working great, and a 2007 timing cover working great now with the 3 bolt cam gear and cam sensor. truck fires up like stock now, no more batch fire mode.

going to turn her up tomorrow night and see if this commanded afr problem still exsists, if it does, the datalogs go to HP tuners to solve that issue with the stock ECU.

other than that 12psi with 4.10s feels stronger on the street than 15psi did with the stock 3.23s

well...

11.979 @ 112mph 1.66 60ft, 12psi of boost, no nitrous.

once it went 11s we decided to spray it out of the hole.
track couldnt hold it. 28x9 goodyear slick.

going to try a better day, track was going as the night went on.

he wants to get a 30 inch slick and spray it when there is a little more heat in the track on a prepped day.

he only has it hooked up to spray in 1st gear. just to 60ft the truck and get it going.

it spun and went sideways everytime he sprayed it, because the track was going. so he would short shift into 2nd and just roll down the track.

so we will try another day when the track is prepped, because this was just a friday night street night.

its only a 60shot, but it really flashes that converter and makes the truck an animal!
