I wanted a big single in a bad way. We went through brainstorming the plumbing etc. and I don't have much room, mainly for the size of the downpipe and crossover I'd need. To make it fit I'd have to lose A/C and heat and I'm not prepared to do that, street car. If I get another car later down the road and try to make this more of a car that I don't take out downtown or something then I'd love to do it, otherwise I think the twins will suffice.

This is Stacy Barnett's TT GTS (met him at TX2K10, car has since been sold) on medium boost making ~1200RWHP:

My goal with a built motor in a year is about 1200-1500 to the wheels. That is if I keep the car that long. It seems the twins can get the job done, but I like the idea of a big single, less stuff to break/go wrong.

Think he just got bored of it. He brought it and his IS-F to TX2K10 for SW to take and sell.

Was his IS-F the turbo one there? Were you there in your Viper and if so what wheels were on it?

Have to ask. What is a IS-F? Must have spent the last 15mins watching videos from that post. LOL.

I like the fact that steve's car was still a 6 speed too. I only wish I could row gears to 8 second quarter mile times.

I did see you there. I towed a 28ft trailer with a friend's mark 2 in it. I was in a solid back Chevy dually that was bagged. His mark 2 broke the rear twice then popped the motor it sucked we didn't get but one run.

That the one that cracked the diff cover? Didn't realize it popped the motor. That does suck.

Haggled the crap out of it. Bought it from a dealer in Daytona, he was asking $37k, had it 30 days past his state deadline to pay taxes or something, left with the car after giving him a $30k check and that was it. Clean title, carfax, and 27k on it. From what I'm told I got a good deal, most BW cars go for $35-$40k.

You are the man I swear haha. You never are satisfied...but then again, neither am I. I just got done with the new setup and I'm already planning out the next "long" build...LS + boost. It'll be a 2 year process while I finish school...but it'll be a beast when finished.

Goodluck with the twins, I'm anxious to see it finished.

Not really an update per se, but I dropped the car off last night, ETA : 3-4 weeks. I'll get updated pictures throughout the process.

Haha, it never ends. I somehow found myself looking at rods/pistons and stroker kits this week and I haven't even got it done on the stock motor yet.

I've always loved your car, can't wait to see what's next!
