Depends on where the vacuum line is going. The PCV lines are 3/8", lines for gauges and valves are often smaller, as noted above, usually 1/8"

I'm sorry, I went out and checked my car causethe 1/8" seemed small, and my bypass valve and boost gauge connect to 3/16" connections. The 1/4" is used on my coolant crossovers.

1/4" nylon hose by 1/8" mpt quick-fit fittings are what I use. It's clean and easy to connect/disconnect.

Why order it online? Vacuum line is cheap at the local auto parts store. Also measure the fittings the line will be connecting to, if you don't already have them then wait until you do so you'll know for sure you're getting the right stuff.
