Default And again, more pics of the "awesome turbo kit"

I made a thread a few weeks ago showing you guys pictures of a less than stellar turbo hotside. After the seller saw the thread he agreed to give me some money back. We agreed on $200 to cover the repairs of the holes and bird **** welds. Well fast foward a few weeks. I finally get a chance to mock it up on a spare engine. And wouldnt you know, the turbo doesnt even come close to fitting. Its all up in the water pump.

So I just wanted to let everyone here know that TRANSAMMILLER makes one hell of a turbo kit, and doesnt stand behind his work at all. Here are the pictures, again.

This just shows how nicely the turbo fits

And again for your viewing pleasure...

And the shipping box that everyone loves to hate

I deleted it because I thought all was well. I never figured this **** wouldnt even allow me to bolt the turbo up.

And yeah I'm "whining" about spending $566.25 for a pile of metal I can't even use. I'm sure you would to.

I could weld up a better hot secton with my *****.

$566 is a rip off, you could have gotten better quailty chinese stuff from ebay for $100 or so LOL

Also, that much money is about halfway to buying yourself a chinese tig welder and doing it yoursel. I bought myself an Everlast PowerPro 205 and have been tigging my own stuff ever since. The plasma cutter works fantastic as well.

*** man! Looks like a retarded monkey welded that with his eyes closed using flux core wire with the polarity wrong and no ground.

Box with more duct tape than cardboard FTW!

Way back in my import days I odered a turbo kit for my Civic from this guy who had the kit featured in Turbo magazine. Can't remember how much I spent but it was a lot more than $556. After about a year of dicking with this guy, having him served, taking him to small claims, trying to have a collection agency after him I get a box with a header, turbo and downpipe, nothing else. But I guess it fit.

Not defending the guy but did he sell you the kit with the turbo or without? If it's without the turbo I don't think you can fault him unless he told you it would fit.

As far as the welds it looks like he used a flux core mig wire, it's what China used to do saving the cost of nuts and bolts. Until even the cheapest bastards made them improve the quality. So basically what I'm saying is even the Chinese would be laughing at the quality of those welds.

No it didn't come with a turbo. It was supposedly made for a master power turbo. I have a TC76. Which is actually smaller I think? So there should be plenty of room. Guess not, huh?

Here is what it all looked like when I first got it. He tried hiding his screw ups with wrap and spray paint. He even wrapped over te damn O2 bungs! And clearly the wrap was just un raveling before I even got a goo look at it.

Then not to mention, as soon as I sent him money he suspiciously deleted the for sale thread. This guy is extremely horrible to deal with. A kiniving crook.

Is that all you got for $600? Part of the hot side? I bought a project car from a guy in Florida. I spoke to him on the phone over 20 times. He assured my all the hard work was done. That is now my favorite catch phrase. So I get the car and it is a pile of ****. Thrown together and far from done. I decided to tear it apart and start over. Lots of raw material to work with. It was ten times what you have invested and I am old and supposedly wiser. I imagine when you cool off you will probably do what I did.

I don't know how much you know about the TC76 but it is a 76mm with a smaller compressor housing for size constraints.

Yes I know it's small for a 76. That's why there shouldn't be any reason it should not fit, right?
