I don't know why the picture came out so small but I made some progress. Just have to wait for another day off to continue.

Great job man, the build looks really good! Are you running a GT47 or GT55 88?
I'm seriously considering a GT4788 for my next setup.

GT47

They are 1.75 primary's, if I had a normal work schedule and an actual shop not just the driveway I would probably build a few more to sell until I got bored with it.

Thanks, still hope I can make tx2k11.

Which end did you start from flange or collector?

Any method on how you determined the length (pipemax?)

I just bolted the flange to the head and pretty much hung the collector off of some aluminum flat bar that I bolted to the core support. Once I fitted the closes port to the collector I removed the flatbar.

Nice work. I, much like yourself, have the luxury of a driveway garage. Do you plan on coating the hot parts?

Yea, but I'm undecided on who to do it. Polydyn in Houston did my last kit and I wasn't impressed, they are the same people who did RCC's vette.

That setup does look really nice so far. I want to do something like that down the road for my 93. I really want to buy a TIG setup, but can't justify it yet.

I'm a quality control inspector for a industrial construction company. We build and do shutdowns/ turnarounds on refineries and chemical plants. I've been working like crazy since July of last year.

My tig machine has paid for it's self with this kit alone. I have also done a few $50-$60 dollar jobs here and there for people I know. The one I have was $1250 off ebay new.

Wow! Great work so far man. Love the headers they are sweet. Very interested in this build. I am using the same turbo as you in my build. Just waiting on my motor to get here for me to start mine. Keep up the great work!
