Well I got the car pretty much all back together minus putting the nose on it. Tried to start it but it won't idle and was knocking/ticking. I just pulled the driver side cover to double check the rocker arms and found two that are loose. They are torqued down but have a ton of slack, I'm guessing a few lifters have collapsed. I spun the motor over for a bit to build oil pressure and blow out the cylinders before starting. The car is making 50 psi of oil pressure. I cant remember if they are LS7 or caddy lifters, has anyone had this issue? Last time I drove the car the belt broke and screwed up the front seal, I drove it halfway home stopped put some oil in it then drove the rest of the way (only 5 or 6 miles). Not looking forward to taking this all back apart.

It's definitely 2 lifters on the driver side that aren't pumped up, I will have to check the other side tomorrow. I know people store lifters in oil. My motor hasn't ran or even been turned over in about 9 months. Is it possible to feed the lifter oil from the top through the pushrod hole to help it? I'm not really to positive on how they work.

the lifter get oil pressure from the same oil galley that feeds the cam bearings, if you notice there is a small hole in each lifter bore. i doubt the passage is blocked, but its possible. it ran fine when you parked it?

Yea besides the front seal leaking. I changed the cam also.
I called LME this morning, Brian said it may take awhile to pump back up if it is completely drained.
