Well its at Bills and he is fabricating all the charge pipes, v-bands on my entire exhaust, mounting the fan to the radiator shroud, bracket for my vacuum block, the aster bracket would not line up so he had to machine some of the stand offs to make it line up perfectly. Ill get pictures up as soon as I get it back. I will be waiting for frost to tune it come june 18th he has my pcm for the base tune right now.

Good choice with Lonnies setup, I called that guy up awhile back and talked to him on the phone and that guy REALLY knows his stuff, fuel system genius no doubt. This build is going to be so badass, please tell me you're going to take a good quality video of the first fire up and a bit of idle?

Quick question! I am building the same set up with an F1A, Lonnies and the aster bracket. Why would it not line up? Should be getting my kit, motor and trans next week so I am just wondering if I am going to have to do anything extra with the Aster.

Thanks

Hi Brian, Chris has recently modified the height of the stand-offs so the bracket should correctly align up. Bob

Ya Bob is correct, I talked to Chris and he told me what one to machine but it still did not line up so Bill had to modify all 3 stand offs to make it line up 100%. I dont know if all of mine were just that off or what but its all good now!!!

That's a badass looking setup. Very clean. Is it 4" pipe from the headunit to the throttle body?

No its 3" from the headunit to the intercooler then goes out 3.5" from the intercooler and then to 4" just before it comes into the engine bay. Ill post some more pictures up soon just dropped some stuff off at the powder coaters should have it back Friday.

FYI--Bill was able to get a true 4" intake on the headunit for the air filter!!
