There is a nice big space under the trunk to mount an alum. battery box and optima upside down. Keeps the trunk clean.

i may look at that route, will make getting the disconnect easier to get out too. Id rather drill the bumper then the tail light.

quick little update, should be recieving all my parts back from my welder friend for the (fingers crossed) final assembly, atleast till the motor imploads

Got my battery relocate ordered from summit so i can begin that as well.
also ordered a mushroom filter in hopes i can modify it too fit.

Tuning will be done with cut out open and filter off. that way when i go to the track, minimal changes need to be made.

little picture of the front cover with the drain welded in.

This is a picture from my buddy, he welded the fitting to the front cover and smoothed it inside so it wouldnt interfere with the oil pump bolts.

like i said, should have all my stuff back on wed. Now i Just got to figure out what to do with the bung thats already in the pan. vent???? lol i guess ill just plug it/cap it off

well.... What can i say, I broke the timing cover, so i had to do another one, Took me about a week to find a local guy that could accommodate me. He did great, also had him fix a couple things on my hotside pipes, etc.

Basically, im being lazy, lol. i hate working in a cold garage. lol. Im getting their, i promise, i got my radiator brackets marked for welding in, since i had to move it. downpipe is tigged and looking sexy.

the front of the motor is buttoned up and the pulley on, manifolds are bolted on for the final time. its getting close, cold side and wastegate to go, and i should be ready. Oh, and do the darn battery relocate thats sitting here.

sorry man, im getting their. need motivation.

did you decide where the battery was goin?? and where the switch is goin... im torn on that dont want to "ruin" the back of the car...

think the battery could be moved to the driver side with out to much prolem? thats what i was thinkin of doin.. maybe find a smaller battery that will be easier to work around?? also i might need you to email me some pics still LOL

Got a little bit going today, still working on it actually, But need to get opinions, I know the reference isnt ideal, i simply dont have the room this way.

It sucks doing this, then figuring about 20 ways i couldve made this better.

Question, as im not in the mood to search at the moment, i know ive seen Wastegates close to turbos, but is this TOO CLOSE??? let me know what you think, if it is, i dont really know what im going to do.

I already aboslutley cannot use the stock radiator, put it in there with the wastegate, wont happen, i have to get a double pass radiator with both inlet and outlet on the driver side.

anyway, on with the pic. and the new timing cover with new fitting in it.

That location is not ideal (neither is mine, haha), but as long as you don't wanna run crazy low boost I think it'll work. Its a P46 right?

Yeah, its a precision 46 with the correct 1 7/8" supply and 1 3/4 return, I left a little bit sticking into the merge to help direct some flow, i know it will cause a some turbulence, but if this was max effort and trying to squeeze every little bit i could, then id be redoing everything. lol
