Either way i have a buyer for the charger listed in my sig and once the check clears, i will place an order for the bracket. Hopefully you can get your 8 sooner than that but if not, you will have 1 more in line anyway.

Thanks Dave, I appreciate it! Bob

I did inquire with ProCharger after talking to you, regarding the pricing on their new 98-02 f body front mount intercooler option that is due to be released next month, and they can't nail down the pricing until they get all of their cost together from their suppliers. They're going to get back to me as soon as they can get the cost nailed down. Thanks Mike. Bob

I Should have the money by the end of next month. Can I give you a down payment to reserve one?

Hey bob I received the water pump yesterday. It only had one of the gaskets though. No worries though, I have a couple sets here. Any ideas on the ESD for the brackets?

I hate to do that Mike, as we really need to get all the money up front. Since you have been a customer of mine since around 2002 I'll honor this price for you when you're ready to place your order. Thanks! Bob

There is a guy on here who has an Aster bracket and is running an F-1R, he says he has no problems at all with it. The F-1R has a max speed of 68K and I don't know how hard he is spinning it, but I wouldn't expect you to have any problems. Bob

Aster is a great guy to work with and his bracket setup is top notch. I am running his bracket/tensioner setup with a F1R and it seems to doing great. With the SDCE setup (running the SDCE 7.25 crank pulley) and a 4 inch blower pulley on a 427, I was getting 17.3 lbs of boost. Now with Aster's bracket setup and the ATI crank pulley (7.65) and a 4 inch blower pulley, I am seeing 18.3 lbs of boost.

Good to know. Taxes should be getting done real soon here and I should have a nice refund. I'll be upgrading to an F1C most likely.

The GM Corvette 2005 LS2 part number 89018052 water pump is the one to use for the Aster Bracket. This water pump does not have the large bell shaped pulley on it. The pulley needs to be pressed forward 11/32 of an inch, to properly align the accessory belt. Thanks! Bob

Inspector12 currently is using one of these brackets on his F1R, but last I heard he has been waiting to get his clutch taken care of before he can really push it. I believe he was planning on maxing it out.

I don't know if there is anyone with the bracket using an F1C head unit. I know there are a couple F1A's running around though.

One thing of note is that there is a slight difference with the F series blowers vs the P1/D1 series with the amount of shims needed to get the head unit pulley to line up. The F series uses a single .1" shim instead of the .2" of the smaller head units. Inspector12 was having some belt issues, due to being almost a full tooth off, until we figured that out and resolved it.

The shims are .100 thou? I need to order a couple new pulleys though. They come with the shims correct?

The pulley's don't come with shims when you order them.

The bracket though I ship with the shims so you don't have to hunt them down. I had a couple people that did not have the correct shims or sometimes no shims at all so I started packaging the bracket with the ones from Procharger.

P1 and D1 head units use two .1" shims for a total of .2" while the F series would only use one of them.

Thanks for that info, I just may try this set up with a F1C - cheapest way out.

Wondering if would hold up to competition use consistently w/o slip running the F1C (class limited)? I know you have had it out for awhile, but I haven't seen anyone posting their success stories with the bigger units, track times or dyno graphs showing boost logs.

I wish Bob was still at EPP to run stuff on that Mustang dyno.

I really do miss the 100 hr work weeks... I didn't realize it until lately just how worn out I was after eight years of endless hours, and it wasn't even my shop. Lately I've been thinking of putting up a building large enough to house a dyno. Bob
