We'll find out next month hopefully. Do a search, theres plenty of info on it. I decided to play the safe route and use a baby tame cam just to allow for nice driveability while not in boost.

Also a big difference in fuel usage between a blower car and a turbo car correct? Heard it many times from people I would trust....

This is an example for 1000 Crank HP and 80% duty cycle. Requirment for N/A and Boost (should work for either turbo or supercharged).

70lbs min for N/A (if you wanted to play it safe 80lbs)
85lbs min for Boost (if you wanted to play it safe 95lbs)

I posted a formula a while back on how to calculate your injector size. If you know the your crank hp. To answer you question 80lbs injector for turbo application is good for about 925 Crank HP at 80% duty cycle.

It all depends on fuel pressure, 3 bar rated 80's are 96@4 bar

What was your setup? Meth injection? Also, turbo or blower?

80s @ 65psi base, 755rwhp through an 80e @95% IDC on e85. I have made over 1200rwhp with them on a Viper on gas, but that has 10 of them....

I'm not sure what my car dyno's, but I have 80's at 50psi base pressure. Car went 9.32 @ 152mph at 14psi. Car is 3533lbs. I'd guess that's in 950-975 crank hp range.

I went 8.9 @ 152 w/ the 80's @ 3800 lbs. IDC was about 94% and I was pushing almost 80 psi of fuel pressure thru them. I'd say that was maxing them out. That was on race gas but AFR's were pretty solid in the 11.5 area.

I'm really impressed by some of the numbers being turning on those injectors. I thought they gave up a lot sooner. Does the increased pressure have any downsides besides a little more wear on the pumps?

I don't know the guy personally but that's one of the funniest questions I've heard online in a while.

Why don't you brag online about what you do in real life?

My understanding is that the higher the pressure, the more difficult it is for the injector to properly pulse the desired amount of fuel.

i have run a 58 psi base and ran a 1:1 regulater with 80's.... with that setup i have made 900rwhp on a TT vette with my duty cycle in the mid 90's..... the optimal setup in my opinion would be a 100+lb injector low impedence injector , with a low impedence driver box.... then you can drop your base pressure down to 43.5 psi, and possibly go with a 2:1 regulater

2 255's. We are upgrading my fuel system right now. Just bought Bosch 160lb low impedance injectors/vesafueler, -8 feed line, a 3rd 255 that will be inline and nasty rails. Time to make some big power

That is good to know. I am going to give it a try with Twin 255's...750 rwhp is about all mine would make with the current heads and blower on mine. Thanks for the info...your car traps hella high MPH.

much easier to just get 100lb high z injectors and throw the dodgy driver boxes in the bin..

driver boxes are a thing of the past with anything up to 190lb high Z injectors being so damm good!
