I know theres a few variables, but roughly what HP number do 80lb injectors support? Reason i ask is, when i built my turbo 4 cylinder cars, i always bought the largest injectors weather i needed them or not. There is nothing worse than maxxing out your injectors on the dyno at a less than desireable HP number. Or running too small of ones at max duty cycle.

These are the ones in question posted in the link below. I get a deal through this site and these are the largest Hi Imp that they sell. Also, since these are Hi impedance i wont need a controller box or any BS for them will i? I will be using HP tuners. thanks

Those injectors will do fine. They should be good for 800+ wheel but fueling on turbo cars all depends on your tune. Dont forget pumps, supply/return line and a RRFPR. Maybe someone with a similar setup will chime in. I say your stock bottom end lets go before you come close to maxing them out lol

Yes i know the stock bottom will max out before the injectors, ha. I have a forged build in the works.

As for fueling i have the magnafuel Pro EFI pump, 10 gal sumped fuel cell, aeromotive pre and post filters with an Aeromotive EFI FPR with -8 feed and -6 return.

You did not state what base fuel pressure you intend to run and whether or not you intend to run static fuel pressure or a rising-rate regulator?

To give you some baseline, mine are maxed out (100% duty cycle) moving an almost 4000 lb. car to the time in my sig. I would like to pulley down a notch but I would have to have larger injectors.

remember to compare them to actual rwhp number not SAE. here my car gains about 20rwhp or more in the winter over SAE. for example, while my injector is good for 480rwhp SAE and i make 460rwhp SAE. ill be pegging the injector on a -1000 DA. this is partly why gm gives a big window with injectors. ie. LS3 about 370rwhp comes with 42lbers.

i would assume a static fuel pressure if i am going to use HP tuners? I dont have a FMU and currently when the car was NA i didnt have a vacuum line hooked up to the FPR.

yes, this is where the variables come into play. My car should be at 2450 w/o driver. Soo long at this point with my stock bottom end, the 80lbs will support towards the 750whp range is what im looking for.

with an 80psi BASE pressure, and a 1:1 regulator on Q16, I made 1080 with twin GT35Rs in a M6 Z06. I was at 85% IDC @ 6600 with those injectors.

On Gas, Id expect 77-82% IDC at the same power level.

It really depends like stated on your fuel pressure, if you run the stock pressure of 58psi you should be right at 1000crank.

Damn! What pump are you using to support that kind of volume at those fuel pressure numbers? I've heard of magnafuel 4303's not being able to support those hp numbers at the pressures you mentioned. Starting at a base of 40psi is a different story though.

I made 617/623 at 82% on e85. Also run 8an feed, dual walbro255's, 58psi base pessure. Hope that helps.

How is the TR224 working out for your setup? I was planning to get one for a boosted LQ, but I haven't seen too many people do it before.

I've seen 775+ rwhp with 60# injectors at stock fuel pressure, so you 'll have plenty of room with the 80s, especially with the Meth.

That's pretty awesome considering E85.

I made 805rwhp with Mototron 60's in my car. Gotta think 80's can support at least 1000rwhp on gas
