How does a Cary intake (which I guess is Mast Motorsports now) work with a turbo setup?

Does the intake play that much of a role in boosted engines vs. NA?

I have a C5 vette with a APS twin turbo kit on it. I was planning on buying the LG turbo upgrade, LPE 100mm MasAir, and a fast 102. After reading im really confused!!

Exactly my point,in all this, alot of guys run pretty fast with all different kinds of intakes, but how do you know what works the best though???

OOOOOOOOOOOO!

I like the look of that Holley High ram!

I think this manifold might be the only manifold I would cut my cowling for.

I wonder if it will fit under a WS6 hood.

Anyone have any ideas what it will cost? I can not wait to see if it is worth the cost and cutting.

one of the biggest problems that most people overlook in fi intakes is airflow distribution. While the 4 bbl style intake with an elbow will give you the most hp-it also has the worst distribution. Some of this can be fixxed but not all and it takes alot of work. The pro flow works pretty good but still suffers from distribution problems as well(not nearly as bad as the 4bbl and elbow)

The Holley"looks" like it may be better, but we won't know until we get it on the dyno and get the egt data.

Superchiller A2W, won't fit on all LS cars, not saying its best, running air though a core will distribute the air evenly.
It may even fit on a GTO

What have you seen when comparing the good old LS6 intake to the Pro-Flo? It's probably the only intake out right now that is reasonably priced that makes me half tempted to swap from the LS6.

Shawn, are the distribution problems of a single blade TB and an elbow on a carb intake cured somewhat by using a carb hat on top of a 4 barrel style throttle body? Or even a 4 hole spacer under that style throttle body?

Does this have to do with the long side radius moving air faster going into the intake? Ex- the back, or long side of the intake moves air faster then the front or short side radius?

Does air speed come into play because it's boosted into the intake vs. NA?

Very true...We had a little bit of an issue with Andys Pro-Mod intake that we had to "re-engineer" to cut some air out of certain cylinders and direct it to others... Thats why I'm interested in finding what works the best and within my budget...

Given how long these engines have been about...why are there still so many un-answered questions ?

On the Holley intake, where is the TB ?

The Holley certainly looks nice, and does seem to have quite a large volume. More so than the Edelbrock.
