This is @ 2300' elevation around 3800' density altitude on 8lbs 150kpa. I have worked out a few bugs (valve springs, intake gasket leaks, meth leak etc etc) and plan to go back to the track next month when it cools offs. Will go quite a bit faster, this was also through my stock slp dual dual exhaust.

Also, these Prochargers discharge more heat than anyone knows until they monitor blower discharge temps like we do. We've been struggling with getting the IAT's where they should be especially for a 1/4 mile hit. Should be out next Friday and will find out if the change we made will lower IAT's. Once we have that down then we can turn up the wick and let her rip! Also, the tune up in the car is still conservative and until we make a full 1/4 pass we don't know if we have the right converter. I should probably add that the timeslip I posted today was with the air shifter set at 7100rpm.
What method are you using to cool the charge?

Very cool. That's alot of DA. You got about an easy .3-.4 second worth of ET if you can get your 60' down to the 1.4's. I know it's tougher with a stick.

Air to Water PT 2000 Intercooler. Our ice/water tank was only 5 gallons and after talking to a few Procharger guys we just increased it to 8 gallons. The increased capacity should help and we will find out next Friday night.

LS1Nova, that sounds like a sweet pro touring setup you got there.

Glad that things are finally starting to pick up on the list here.

On LS2Formula's car, we found that the line size was critical. Are you cooling the trans fluid with the same water box?

I run a 5 gal with no issue...my IATs are usually ~60F at the 1/8 mile stripe.

Are you pre-cooling the intercooler before a pass?

if you put ice in the tank with a "warm" intercooler and circulate, you'll see most of the ice is melted very quickly. Do this, drain some water then add fresh ice for a pass.

Where is your actual IAT sensor located? Roughly what ambient?

Even on a full prechill as you described, we are at 70* by the time the tree drops and 120-130* at the 1/4 with LS2Formula's car. Now, his intercooler is in the bumper and his water box is in the well in the back. So he has long water lines and short cold side tubing but that's a huge difference from what you are describing.

The IC is custom from Chiseled. Supposed to be good for 2K hp. I'll find out what pump and line size tonight. I do know that he just had the water box rebuilt custom by a local fabricator to fit in the spare tire well. It has slightly more capacity now and he had larger in/out fittings welded on the cooler as the lines were of larger diameter than the bungs.

Very nice. Gotta get that 60' down. Have you tried a real drag radial (MT or Hoosier)?
