have a good friend in central ark that's needing a ls pullout to begin his turbo blowthru ls dragboat project with and he keeps telling me he cant find even a decent 5.3 for under 700 we're needing a salvage yard or recycler in ark he can go to for a 58x 5.3 or 6.0 to begin with. appreciate any help fellas, dont know many guys in the ark area that are into ls's.

he'd make the drive for a 06-07 5.3 for 500ish, got any info on what yard is selling em that cheap?we used to use greenleaf in dallas for our pullouts but i know they changed hands. i could get 4.8's from them all day long for 250ish, 5.3's for 400ish.

Try American Auto Salvage in Ft Worth. I got a 50K '05 5.3 for $450 last year.

If not, try car-part "dot com", it searches junkyards pretty much everywhere.

thanx pimp! helpin lildave from ark with his lil mantra's turbo ls deal now. we're jus about to finish my uncle's alum 5.3 deal for his 17ft earl tunnel, and dave has the same hull as me so i've been making him plate templates and stuff to give him a headstart one he does get his ls bought. i'll pass the info on!
