Edit....that was to a different ebay store i saw at the bottom. My bad! Wish they made them without the boss' so you could relocate the coil packs and have an inexpensive alternative for a sharp looking valve cover!

That is sweet. I hope to hear how it does. I am doing a similar build except I will be running an l76 intake on a 408. How did you decide on that cam? I was thinking of one really similar.

Thanks! I saw a build in car craft magazine with a similar Cam and then I did some research and found that the l92/ls3 heads favor a large duration on the exhaust. So I called comp cams and this is what they recommended. I think it'll do well being this a mostly street car with a manual trans.

I have been emailing comp back and forth and they just stopped emailing me last week. They might be busy or something. I will probably just do a similar cam since we have almost identical builds.

Yeah my last build was a 408 with the ms4 with .649" on the intake and you have to run even harder springs then you would with just .600" Did you port your heads at all? I am going to on the exhaust side just to help it out a tiny bit.

we've decided on the center mount option. this turbo is huge (42lbs!) and while putting it in the corner could be done it would require us to chop the car up a bit to make it work. so we decided the center mount would be the best way to go. one draw back is ill have to buy a new radiator, a shorter rad that will tuck up and under the rad support. summit's got great deals on radiators so we decided on one that was 15in tall and 32 in wide and should be plenty capable of keeping the motor temps in check. we also have to figure something out with the fans. i had twin stock iroc fans in between the rad and the intercooler in a pusher configuration before, but its clear they will be way too large to fit in between the rad and the intercooler with the rad pushed back. so ill either source some thin units that'll fit or possibly put one fan on each side of the turbo in a puller configuration.
i also cleaned up the wiring under the dash and finished wiring up the gauges and also finished up the fuel system under the hood (moved the fuel pressure regulator and bolted the carb on) while my brother fabbed up a bracket to hold the turbo. Pics!
